Are the Mullahs harboring Bin Laden?
If this were true would it really be much of a suprise? It would?... Really?
We know that the Mullahs have been harboring Al Qaeda goons post-coalition invasion of Afghanistan, and we know from the 9/11 commission's report that Khamenei and Co. facilitated pivotal Al Qaeda transit across Iranian borders, so why wouldn't the Islamic Republic invite uncle Osama over for dinner, offer him a decked-out guest house with two full-size bathrooms, refrigerator stocked with salted pork and a dialysis machine on the side?
Iranian intelligence sources who were cited in Richard Miniter's controversial new book, "Shadow War: The Untold Story of How Bush Is Winning the War on Terror" provide three of their own reasons why the Mullahs would provide refuge to Osama:
1) ...the Iranians (mullahs) believe they can keep bin Laden's presence a secret and plausibly deny it if publicly accused.
2) ...the mullahs are feeling increasingly threatened by the War on Terror. (They) fear a counter-revolution and see bin Laden's fighters as tools they can use to ensure the failure of these young democracies in Iraq and Afghanistan and the survival of mullah-dominated Iran.
3) ...they share enemies, including many Arab leaders, the United States and the rest of the Western world.
We could give you a hundred more reasons, but hey - who's counting?
Be sure to give this WorldNetDaily report a read through!
