New Iranian "President's" Extensive Criminal Background -

From the Middle East Newsline -

"LONDON -- Iran's new president has been identified as a suspect in a series of killings of Kurdish dissidents in Western Europe. Western intelligence sources said Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, elected president on June 24, was a commander in the intelligence and sabotage arm of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The sources said Ahmadinejad helped monitor and target Iranian dissidents both at home and abroad and arranged for assistance to Islamic insurgency allies of Teheran.

Ahmadinejad, not named in any indictment, has been identified by Western intelligence sources as a suspected planner in the killing of Kurdish dissidents in Western Europe in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Four Kurds were killed in IRGC strikes in Austria and Germany.

"There are investigators in EU [European Union] countries still interested in questioning him," a Western intelligence source said. "It could become a problem."

Iran Focus goes into further depth with this exclusive look into the criminal past of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

In the words of U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, the winner of Iran's invalid presidential election is "no friend of democracy."

Today Is: INTERNATIONAL "BOGUS ELECTION DAY!" (Protest Update)

Today the Iranian people and the whole world will be forced to bear witness to one of the biggest and most blatant affronts to freedom and democracy in recent years. To all those throughout the World who cry and moan about the kinks in the American electoral system, please for just a moment turn towards Iran, and watch as a hard-lined clerical mafia -

(btw, the pseudo-"reformers" are instruments of the regime, used in order to give many of the world's crooked media and politicians some reason to support "discussions" and "reform" with the Mullahs. The argument that there are "reformers" in the Islamic Regime's "Govt" is used for their own benefit as it gives the perception that seeds of change do exist within the regime. (THEY DON'T))

- once again laughs at the people of the world who support human liberty and the Universal Declration of Human Rights - while they shake the hands of certain politicans and lobbyists who spend MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of dollars in capitals around the world, including Washington D.C. in an effort to passify opposition within many world governments and lengthen their stay in Tehran, Iran.

ANY AMERICAN POLITICAN WHO TAKES MONEY FROM OR EVEN CONSIDERS SHAKING THE HAND OF A REGIME DIPLOMAT OR LOBBYIST SHOULD BE FORCED TO RESIGN BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE & ELEMENTS OF THE AMERICAN GOVT WHO ARE TRUE PATRIOTS AND WHO DESPISE SUCH ACTIONS. THEY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY EXPOSED BY BLOGGERS AND ELEMENTS OF THE MEDIA WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AMERICAN!

To those certain European politicans who talk about "supporting" freedom and democracy in the Middle East, but then behind closed doors act to the contrary by allying themselves with special business interests in Iran, interests and economic ties that do nothing for the Iranian people or the spread of freedom, our question is simple:

DO YOU SUPPORT FREEDOM AND THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS?

or

DO YOU SUPPORT THE MULLAHS?

"Yes, yes, but what can I do, I'm just a powerless citizen of Planet Earth?", you ask!

Each and every one of us has much more power and authority then we give ourselves credit for. We are human beings, who have the ability and drive to go to immense lengths and do extraordinary things for the ones we love and the principles we believe in. Our duty as human beings is to fight for those who are repressed so brutally, whose voices are muted, and who long for us to come to their rescue. No, America is not the World's policeman! We are a nation of sons and daughters who's ancestors, from around the world, fought for a vision greater than themselves, and endured in a struggle that paved the way for many of the freedoms we take for granted today.

Where would we be without freedom?

As Pejmanesque quotes, "Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity." --Horace Mann.

We must stand once and for all with a nation of 70 million people who are crying for freedom, democracy, and an ally they can trust!

Protest Update: If you're in the Washington, DC area and would like to protest against the German Govt. policy w/ regard to Iran and support of the criminal Mullahs, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will be in town! medienkritik.typepad.com has all the details.

If only Schroeder's French and British counterparts would be so kind to join him on the 27th so they could all get the thumbs down for going easy on the Mullahs and siding with big economic ties rather than with human rights and freedom!

As Sir John Danvers, a European Union and Foreign Policy expert, clearly stated in February 2005, at a Round Table on the topic of the European Union's position on Iran

"From the standpoint of many people, not least Iranian dissidents in Europe and the United States, this European "diplomatic" approach smacks of appeasement of a repressive regime. It is clear that commercial ties between Europe and Iran play a significant role in the attitude adopted by the European Union.

At a recent rally in Berlin, marking the 26th anniversary of the Iranian revolution that swept the Islamic government into power (and which I had the privilege of attending), Iranian exiles from all parts of Europe gathered to protest against Iran's conservative Islamic government and its nuclear policies, which they regarded as a dangerous ploy that could lead to United States military intervention. One of many accounts of this rally was published on 11 February last by Jeffrey Fleishman, a staff writer of the Los Angeles Times.

According to Fleishman, Shokrani Taheri, representing the National Council of Resistance of Iran, stated that Tehran has made deals with the governments of Europe and that there was business and oil and the Europeans didn't want to lose them.

Many marching in the demonstration complained that European negotiations with Iran have done little to improve Iran's human rights record or derail its nuclear program. Protesters said that while they opposed a U.S. military strike on Iran, they were encouraged by tough language directed at the regime by President Bush during his State of the Union address and by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice this week."

Homework Assignment (EU3's Relationship w/ The Mullahs - UPDATED)

Here's a fun an easy homework assignment for all of you fellow bloggers and activists who have an interest and a few minutes to lend in support of human freedom.

Please write a one paragraph review of the EU3s relationship (failed talks) with the Mullahs, and please consider offering up your thoughts as to why the EU3 continues to go easy on the Mullahs (in a sense, helping to sustain them!) and also why the Bush Administration continues to sit on the sidelines, with the exception of an occasional strong statment by Condoleezza Rice (Which are of course, sincerely appreciated)? Unfortunately, a comprehensive approach/policy to bringing freedom to the Iranian people (& The Whole Middle East) has yet to be stated/clarified, and the closest the Administration has gotten to such a goal have been the sporadic bits and pieces of rhetoric in support of the Iranian people, which are frankly few and far between, and don't do damn near enough!

Please submit the following assignment whenever you have the chance by posting it as a comment beneat this blog-post ;)

In the meantime, check out Doctor Zin's rock-solid (as usual) daily briefing and also the non-stop discussion taking place in the ActivistChat.com message forum.

Evin Again. (Lip Service vs. Freedom - What Would Our American Fathers Do?)

An Iranian investigative journalist, jailed for linking officials to political murders, was back behind bars on Saturday and resuming a hunger strike after vanishing for three days.

On Saturday, Ganji returned alone to Tehran's Evin prison...

Day after day, the illegitimate regime of Mullahs spits on the human rights of the Iranian people, as the Persian-speaking children of Cyrus The Great steadily march torward freedom. The people are given hope and empowered by words and actions that come from their exiled compatriots and non-Iranian citizens throughout the world who support their struggle. Unfortunately for their struggle, the governments of the world are littered with officials, politicans and mouthpieces who only pay lip service to human rights when it suits their own selfish agenda, as their visions and objectives rarely include progress and freedom for human beings everywhere.

Of all the world powers, the United States has stood more with the Iranian people than any other government. Unfortunately American drafting and enforcement of good policy in support of the Iranian people is almost always slowed and re-routed by many Washington lobbyists (essentially agents of the Islamic regime who pay politicians and others big money to look the other way!) who prefer to see the status quo of Clerical torture prisons, hangings and mass repression continue, despite all of the positive developments that would come from aiding the Iranian people in their march toward freedom (1) A Free Iran would be a major ally in the War On Terror. (2) The current Govt harbors terrorists and are themselves terrorists, ending their reign would be a major victory (3) A Free Iran Would make it much easier to reach peace between the Israelis and Palestinians, as the clerics are the major masterminds of most of the regional conflict.

Is it not time for President Bush to put an end to the charade? Isn't it time for the President of the Free World to act on all the rhetoric that has come out of Washington and announce a real policy in support of the Iranian people, a policy that will put European officials who have worked hard to maintain the clerical regime to shame?

Why do the British, French and German Governments want the regime to remain in power? Business, purely business. The American Government should end the game of handing responsibility over to the EU-3, a bloc that clearly has no interest in seeing the Iranian people remove the corrupt illegal regime of Mullahs!

WILL TONY BLAIR FINALLY SUPPORT THE IRANIAN PEOPLE?

WILL GEORGE W. BUSH ACT ON HIS GREAT WORDS IN SUPPORT OF THE IRANIAN PEOPLE?

WILL THE IRANIAN PEOPLE BE FREE?

America's founding fathers would surely defend the Iranian people's march towards freedom and would SPIT on the EU-3's effort to sustain them!
