Jaber Rouzbahani to be the first Iranian in the NBA (This guy's TALL!)

This picture was taken on 5/9/04 on Jaber's 18th birthday in Oakland. He had arrived 2 months ago from his hometown, Isfahan, Iran, and is practicing with the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. Jaber has nine brothers and sisters. He has been on the Iranian national basketball team for the past 3 years and played against Yao Ming and the Chinese national team. Jaber is on the 2004 NBA draft list and hopes to make it big with the NBA. Jaber does not speak English yet, loves basketball, plays center position like Shaq and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and at 7' 5 " is taller than them! For more on Jaber, google "Jaber Rouzbahani".

He doesn't even need to jump to dunk!

Damn - this kids tall.. Well, playing in the NBA is a lot more peaceful than being a bloody Khamenei Mullah-type who spends day and night repressing the Iranian people.. at least he will be representing the Iranian people in a good way..
