The Iranian democratic Solidarity Congress ( http://en.nufdi.org/News/News_mainf.cfm?Newsha=1330 ) was held to boost the peaceful movements for the liberation of Iran. From all over the world Iranians gathered and chose 35 members for a permanent representative body, the Iranian Solidarity Council, which will work on the peaceful removal of the theocratic regime in Iran.
The political groups and organisations that were present in this meeting agree on a couple of important points: first and foremost, they agree to put their ideological differences aside in order to save their troubled homeland Iran. Together they want to work on removing the theocracy and replacing it with a secular democracy that will offer change and hope for their fellow Iranians in Iran and around the world.
