What is the difference between Liberals and Republicans?

Many years ago there was a significant difference between the two parties mostly in the social programs and economy. But today they only differ in the degree of liberalism they represent. The Republican party of today is like the Democrats of 25 years ago. There is no true conservative party left in the U.S. There are some third parties forming but none pose a real threat to the "Big Two" at this time. As for the Democrats, they are nothing more than socialist bordering on communism. They distort the truth and the major media is their propaganda mouthpiece. The two parties are supposed to be a loyal opposition but more and more the democrats seek to undermine every effort of the Republicans no matter if they are right or wrong. They are seditious and unloyal and will bring this country down if not stopped by the people of the U.S. The tide is turning more towards the conservative way of thinking more each day, ironically enough with the help of the Domocrats and other liberal groups. They rant and rave making themselves look rediculous and downright dangerous and the country see it.
