Another execution in Iran

TEHRAN - An Iranian man convicted of murdering a jeweller in October last year has been hanged publicly in the western Iranian province of Lorestan, the Ressalat newspaper reported Wednesday.

The "killer" was identified as Kioumars Nasir Moghadas, and his victim named as Saeed Karamshahi. The report said the execution took place at dawn Tuesday morning in the town of Poldokhtar and was watched by members of the judiciary, the police and local people.

Murder, armed robbery, rape, apostasy and serious drug trafficking are all punishable by death in Iran *

Other qualifications, such as, "Bandit", "Hooligan", "Spy", "Drug Trafficker" or "Rapist" are used as well and which help the regime's European and Japanese collaborators to justify the continuation of their business relations with a repressive regime.
