Persia will rise again. The spirit of the Persians cannot be tamed by fundamentalism. Let the lion awaken. Then you can claim your rightfull place in the world, as scions of a civilization that strecthes millenia into the past.
My hopes and prayers are with the people fighting for their freedom in the lands of the King of Kings. Freedom can only be attained with blood and sacrifice, it is not a thing others can give you, but a thing you have to wrest from others.

PERSIA WILL RISE AGAIN

Yes - Iranians destiny is to be free from the Mullahs! It is only a matter of time. The West must help the Iranian people to defeat the true source of terrorism. Otherwise, what are we really fighting for?

The Iranian Crisis

By Ali Sina

The Chinese ideogram for crisis is composed of two separate characters: one means danger and the other means opportunity.

Today Iran is in crisis. There lies a great danger as well as a great opportunity.

The Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) is a great danger to the world peace and your life. The Mullahs ruling Iran are developing atomic bombs and this means disaster for humanity.

Mohammed Khatami, the so-called reformist and pro-Western Iranian president, announced last week that the Islamic Republic will continue enriching uranium in defiance of a resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that demanded Iran stop all nuclear-related activity (1)

On October 1, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati decried the importance of the sanctions that the UN may impose on Iran and told worshippers at Friday prayers in Tehran that possible U.N. sanctions on Iran would make the Islamic republic stronger than ever.

" Iran will never yield to international pressure to abandon its home-grown nuclear technology," said Jannati, who heads Iran 's hardliner Guardian Council -- a powerful, unelected supervisory body.

"Americans should know that it is just impossible. You will take this wish to the grave," Jannati said.(2)

On Monday 27 Sep 2004 Maj. Gen. Rahim Safawi, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, said Iran is ready to confront U.S. pressure, including military.

"We advise the Americans and the Europeans to beware of Iran regional weight and capacity and to recognize its rights and importance in the region. We are ready to confront any pressures against us, be they political, economic and even military." Safawi warned. (3)

Mullah’s role in international terrorism is not a secret. Their intentions are well known. If they get hold of atomic bomb, they will certainly use it or give it to the terrorist groups whom they support to use it. This is one threat that the world must not ignore. Nuclearization of the Mullahs means nuclear war worldwide. The Mullahs must be stopped NOW or we will have to prepare ourselves for the next World War.

Sanctions and UN resolutions don’t work. These are child plays. There are two options to stop the bomb falling in the hands of the terrorist Mullahs. One is to invade Iran militarily and the other is to help the insurgency inside the country to overthrow their hated regime.

Attacking Iran directly has many downsides. The experience in Iraq has not been encouraging. It is unlikely that America or any other country would want to commit to another war.

Such war no matter how "surgical" would produce many civilian casualties and this will alienate the population against the invading force. It would also cause unnecessary damages to the country's infrastructure. This could cause a backlash, provoke anti American sentiment, which might might aggravate the problem instead of solving it.

The other option is to empower the insurgency. This is the most viable option.

The insurgency has already begun.

On Sunday 26 September A rare pro-democracy protest in Tehran gained momentum late on Sunday with hundreds of cars pouring into the streets, blaring horns and provoking an appearance from hardline vigilantes.

Persian-language television channels from the United States had been broadcasting callers throughout the day who had exhorted Iranians to turn out for demonstrations.

Two hundred riot police were drafted into central Tehran earlier in the day when more than 2,000 people started milling round the streets after a minor protest inspired by the U.S.-based channels, witnesses said. (4)

On Tuesday 28 September w idespread clashes erupted between people and security forces in Nour-Abad region of Mamasani, Bandar Abbas and Miandoab

At least seven people were killed and hundreds more were reportedly wounded and a vast number of people have been detained.

The commander of Miandoab’s security forces and two members of his entourage were killed by a violent crowd which had taken to the streets following revelations of corruption within the clerical establishment. Smoke could be seen rising from the rooftops of many government buildings. Charred debris were visible from burnt vehicles of the State Security Forces (SSF). Townspeople took control over the regime’s security headquarters.

One man was reported to have been killed in one of the ensuing clashes between local residents and SSF forces and Revolutionary Guards sent in from neighboring districts. Many more have been wounded in the street battles.

Also in Bandar Abbas members of the Revolutionary Guards Marine Corps killed 3 persons, according to eye-witnesses. Local residents, outraged by the news of the killings, rioted and attacked the Governors office. (5)

On Wednesday 29 September, four people were killed and a dozen were injured in northwestern Iran in a clash between a religious sect and the forces of the regime. The group claims that their leader is the promised Shiite Mahdi, the 12th Imam. The Shiites believe Mahdi will appear when the earth is filled with injustice. He will come to kill the antichrist and bring justice to the world. The emergence of such cults among the less educated people is a clear indication of the general discontent even among the hard core Islamists.

In this confrontation at least 12 police officers were injured and some eight cult members were arrested and three were killed (6)

On October 2 Violent clashes erupted between local residents and the security forces in the city of Isfahan , central Iran. Among the casualties was a 14 year-old schoolboy who reportedly was shot and seriously wounded.

On Thursday, eye-witnesses in nearby Shahin Shahr reported clashes between local people and armed Bassij Forces through the early hours of the day. Residents said that the majority of those who fought against the Bassij Forces were teenagers.

Sporadic street-battles continued well into the night and in the early hours of Friday morning a government-owned oil storage was set alight along with juggernaut tires in Seyedi Shomali street .

In the past week there have been deadly clashes between angry youths and State Security Forces in the cities of Bandar Abbas and Miandoab and the Nour-Abad region of Mamasani, with seven fatalities.

Analysts say rising discontent and frustration among youth over government-imposed restrictions and widespread unemployment are the main reason for the growing number of public protests across the country. (7)

Cities such as, Tehran, Esfahan, Hamadan, Ardebil, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Ahwaz, Falavarjan, Oroomiah (former Rezai-e) and Yazd were widely affected by these unrests. The most violent clashes have been reported from Esfahan where the crowd attacked public buildings, banks, Islamist centers and patrol cars in retaliation to the brutal attack of militiamen which were sent to stop their public peaceful demonstrations.

The discontent is rampant. According to one poll conducted by the government itself 94% of the Iranians want an end to the Mullahracy in Iran.

The Opportunity in Iran's Crisis

The solution to Iran’s dilemma is not that difficult and not very costly either. But neglecting it can be very costly. The key to this problem is in the hands of the United States. There is a great opportunity at hand that if not taken advantage of, it could cost our lives. The opportunity is that Iran is ready for change and the danger is that if this opportunity is lost the Mullahs will have atomic bomb and they will used it.

America must invite all the Iranian opposition forces in Diaspora and help them form a provisional government and a junta to overthrow the regime. All groups opposing the regime of any significant size should be invited to the table. The stigma of terrorists from the People’s Mujahedeen (MEK) must be removed and they should be invited as well. Branding this group as terrorists has been a big mistake and was only done to appease the Mullahs.

Iranians have experienced retired generals from previous regime and great strategists. The decision how to deal with Iran must be left to them. They know the country and they know the people.

Unfortunately the forces of the opposition is very disunited. This has been the main cause of their weakness and the main reason that they have not been able to unseat the Mullahs yet. America can end this acrimony and bring the different factions together. After all if democracy is what we want to see in Iran, the Iranians must learn to work together. There can be no democracy if the Iranians can’t even see each other eye to eye or talk to one another.

America must act as the moderator in the junta but leave the decision making to the Iranians. But America must support them, both financially and militarily. This will bring all those who want to be players in the future of a democratic Iran to the table. This will also make America gain the trust among all the Iranians including the left wingers who ideologically look at America with distrust.

The Iranians have realized that the peaceful demonstrations have no effect on the Mullahs. These illegitimate usurpers of power have no intention to respect the will of the people and no qualm in killing them by thousands as long as they could hold to their seats. It is also unreasonable to expect unarmed people confront heavily armed security forces of a brutal regime who are more than happy to shoot and win.

This uprising needs coordination. It needs military and financial backing. It has none of that and here is where America can help.

The Junta should be given the opportunity to form military bases inside Iraq and Afghanistan soils near the boarders of Iran. Iranian youths should be encouraged to cross the boarders and join this army. The soldiers already serving in the Iranian army should also be invited to desert and join the army of liberation. The response would be overwhelming. The Iranian youth are desperate. Joining the liberation army, directed by their own generals, will give them hope. Iranians are very patriotic. Many Iranians living in exile will also join.

Then when every thing is ready, in one day, the army will march into Iran from the East through Afghanistan's boarders, from the West through Iraq's boarders and from the South through the Persian Gulf, marching to Tehran, liberating city after city on their way and handing the power to the locals. The transfer of power in each city should be pre arranged so there could be no chaos created by vacuum of power.

The forces of liberation will not face any resistance. The Iranian army will never fight their Iranian liberators. On the contrary they will join them. The invading army will not be seen as occupiers. They are Iranians going back home and freeing their own people. This is what 94% of the Iranians long to see.

The US based Iranian televisions will be coordinating the march of the liberation and providing communication between the Iranians inside the country and their compatriots coming to their rescue. Those Iranians inside the great prison have placed their hopes on their compatriots living abroad. This is evident from the calls they make to the US based Iranian televisions. A few of these televisions are very patriotic and brave. They need to be supported to continue their work

The ground troops will not face resistance. But it is possible that some elements of the regime try to shoot the liberation army from the air. We have to be prepared for that eventuality. Communication is the key and here is where the Iranian televisions in US will be crucial. The Iranian pilots of the IRI must be instructed that if they are ordered to become air born, they should land their plains in specific airstrips provided for them inside Iraq and Afghanistan. If they deviate the American air force must be on the alert and shoot them. The likelihood of this happening is slim but it is better to be prepared.

At the same time all the flight to and from Iran must be banned. No Mullah should be able to escape. These thugs must stand trial for what they have done to the people. They will have nowhere to go anyway because the Iranians will certainly cut their relationship with any country that offers asylum to these murderess.

Why America Should Help

Now the question is why America and not England or any other European country should he behind this operation? The answer is that the Iranians do not trust these countries but they do trust America.

Even now that Iran is in defiant of the IAEA, A German delegation traveled to Iran on Thursday to discuss bilateral trade between the two countries. Germany provided the bulk of direct foreign investment in Iran in 2003, worth 270 millions dollars (218 million euros). (9)

The British and the French are doing the same. Iranians have no respect for these countries and do not trust them. Furthermore it is improbable that these European countries would not want to see the Mullahs overthrown and loose yet another great business partner.

Why not the UN or a coalition of several countries to help the Junta? Because this is not going to happen! Time is running out and we do not have the luxury to appease France, Russia or Germany and even UK whose main goal is to keep the Mullahs in power and get fabulous trade concessions. These countries know already that Iranians do not look at them favorably for their shameful ties with the Mullahs. Shortsighted as they are they have no interest to see Iranians become free. They can't see they are sleeping with a cobra and that the Mullahs are only using them now to destroy them later. All they care is to have a few lucrative trade agreements and for that they will even sell their souls and will continue to back this regime.

We should not forget that it was the support of France, Germany and Russia that emboldened Saddam, giving that psychopath false hopes that his friends will eventually come to his rescue and will stop America invading Iraq. Had these countries not been so "anti war", Saddam most likely would have taken his billions of stolen dollars and moved to Russia where an asylum had been offered to him and no war would been waged in Iraq.

Conclusion

The Iran problem must be solved by the Iranians. We Iranians are ready, willing and able to take the matters in our own hands and reclaim our country, restore its democracy and join the family of mankind as responsible members. All we need is your support.

Why should America help Iranians to reclaim their country and restore democracy is obvious. Let us not talk about the past mistakes of America in Iran that created the Islamic revolution as the backlash. Let us not mention the moral obligation of America towards Iranians for destroying their nascent democracy in 1953 with a coup that overthrow Dr. Mossadegh and put in power a puppet ruler and a dictator in the person of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Let the bygone be gone. Today thugs ruling over Iran are the main cause of the mischief in the region. The Islamic Republic of Iran is the axis of evil and the main supporter of Islamic terrorism. Mullahs are behind the insurgency in Iraq. Iran is the major financier to international Islamic terrorism and is host to numerous terrorist camps inside its territory where the members of al Qaida and other Islamic terrorists are trained. The stability of the region and the success of America in Iraq depend on what happens to Iran.

The IRI is the head of this snake. It is the root of the Islamic terrorism. This head must be smashed and this root must be eradicated. The longer the Mullahs remain in power, the greater is the risk of the World War III happening. Once the Mullahs have nuclear bombs we have reached the point of no return and the WW III will be a reality.

Iran presents a great danger to the peace and the stability of the world. At the same time we have a great window of opportunity to act now and cleanse that ancient land from these gangsters and thugs. America is the key, but America need not commit any troop or engage in any war.

America can help Iranians opposing the regime to form a temporary government in exile and support it militarily and financially. The people of Iran are ready to rise and free their mother land and free the world from this axis of evil. Opportunities like this happen rarely. If this opportunity is lost the devastation will affect every one of us. If the next world war happens, and it will happen if we do nothing, no one will escape from its horrors.

oday is the time when an ounce of prevention will save us from tons of remedies.

Ah, there's the rub... the US is also not the same thing as the US Government. I trust my leaders in Washington about as far as I can throw a grand piano... and have as little influence over them as a tree does on the moon.

what do you need from American *citizens?*
Arms? Money? Spreading the word in general?

1. I got on a National Radio Show : Basicaly I brought to attention, the fact that there is an eager population just waiting for Liberation from the Mullahs, and support from America, but the change must come from within Iran. We Agreed, Talked a while, and many heard.
2. Iraq is not going well, because its all this tribal backstabbing Sunni/Shi'ite S**t. "Yea, come on in, then we'll both kill the infadels". Americans arent that stupid. We see what they're trying to dooooooo. Iran's gonna be Free Soon. We put the Cart before the Horse in Iraq - Not as much REAL popular support as we thought, from the people. But Iran Can Easily be a "First World" Country.
3. I wrote my State Senator, and Copied it to All Committee Leaders that we should de-list any Free Iran groups in and around the IRan Iraq border, and set any Wheels in motion to make it as uncomfortable as possible, for the Mullahs before our Nov. 2 Election.
4. I received detailed letters back from congresspeople on the Free Iran resolutions, and thier anticipated passing when they are back in session.
5. Ahh 1979, too long to hold grudges, don't want to get irritable bowel syndrome, Upward and Onward. "Lord Protect me from my enemies with thy buckler and shield - make their way dark and slippery" Psm. 35
6. I do my part to inform anyone about what I read is building in Iran. A proud Persian culture 7000 years young. I hope to see Chalous and the Sea up there.
7. When Bush gets back in The gloves will come off. Not prudent to be "warlike" before Nov. 2 Election.

- Jounbesh e Ayandeh - A New Iranian / Persian Political Party

My Dear Fellow Iranians / Persians,

As you all know a couple of months ago I wrote an article titled - - A New Political Movement, - - which is included below. I did a mass e-mail campaign and posted the article on a few Internet forums.

In the article I asked for your opinion in selecting the desired name for our new political movement. I also asked for your participation to review and make suggestions on the new bill of rights and model constitution I have written as a practical and viable alternative to what is already known in today’s world. This New Bill of Rights And Model Constitution will offer a new fresh perspective to begin a progressive and constructive dialogue and debate.

First and foremost I would like to extend and express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all of you who with your supporting, encouraging and kind words and suggestions made it very clear that a majority of you prefer the name, - Jounbesh e Ayandeh OR Visionary Party – for our new progressive political movement.

As such, - Jounbesh e Ayandeh OR Visionary Party – will be the official name for the New Iranian / Persian Political Party.

I am also grateful for your participation and your vote of confidence on my humble proposal, - - The New Iranian Bill of Rights And Model Constitution. - -

I am deeply touched and very happy with such an amazing and overwhelming surge of positive response. Thank you all very much.

The mainstream media hasn't been credible for 30+ years. Thank God for the Internet and other alternative news sources.
