As you all know, US National Geographic Society has been paid off very nicely by the Arabs to unilaterally use a wrong and an illegitimate name of Arabian Gulf, instead of the original twelve thousands (12,000) years ancient name, Persian-Gulf in its 2005 Atlas. - October 24, 2004 - Unfortunately due to powerful anti-Iranian activities by Arabs and others and the typical incompetence of the Criminal Islamic Republic regime, the southern states of the Persian Gulf who have only come to existence thanks to foreign powers, have slowly become more brazen. As a result the US National Geographic Society after receiving massive payoffs has printed at least three major erroneous statements in its Atlas of the World 2005 (Eighth Edition, ISBN: 0-7922-7543-8 & ISBN: 0-7922-7542-x) regarding Iran and the Persian-Gulf.

But can you please call our language "Persian" instead of "Farsi" when speaking in English? The less often Westerners hear the word "Persian", the less likely they will be to remember to say "Persian Gulf". They just keep calling it "The Gulf" and eventually "The Arabian Gulf". It has become so bad that some people don't even know what "Persian" is anymore. The name of a language is the most common thing associated with a nation. There must be some connection between "Persians" and the gulf calleld "Persian Gulf". Otherwise, what claim would we have to it? Our country is called Iran, not Persia anymore. We are called Iranian, not Persian anymore.

The only connection we have left to our "Persianness" is the name of our language. So why call it Farsi? Can you please change it in this post and in the title? Please tell others to use Persian instead of Farsi too?
