In my mind this is central to the struggle. If I can demonstrate the referundum has popular support and the demands for change are not unreasonable it would go a long way to arguing my case to those who would listen. any help you can give me in this would be appreciated.

I suppose you're going to tell me they're too "liberal" and not worth the paper they're articles are written on. That's OK. We're all entitled to our opinions but nevertheless they are mainstream and have a wide audience.
