The desperately tragic life of street children of the Islamic Republic of Iran


Iran Press News: MEHR, the Islamic regime's news agency, in a report entitled "Street Children: being raised in the arms of the cold streets" wrote that these abandoned and hungry children who roam the streets, run after people on the street or go up to cars waiting for the light to turn, begging and pleading with people to buy their handful of cheap worry beads and a few fortune-telling cards that they have for sale, saying: "Lady, Sir, please, I beg you to buy one!" but no one hears their tearful little voices...as if their simply invisible.

The light turns green and the cars drive away before the child has the chance to catch up...curling up on the street corner hiding her head between her arms, she wishes in her little heart that maybe one day, one of these cars will end things - end things in this torment of a life.

Her golden hair sticks out from under her dirty flowery scarf; her face is so dirty that you cannot distinguish the color of her skin. The flowers she is holding in her thin little hands, to sell are too heavy for her and each time the light turn red she rushes to catch up to the cars with so that with a thousand pleas and prayers she can sell them off. She is raised in the arms of the cold streets, no matter whether it is winter, spring, summer or fall...

Both "Iran Press News" and its source, the Islamic news agency "MEHR", neglect to mention the CAUSE of this tragedy. Non-Iranians reading the article might get the idea that "MEHR" and the Mullahs who run it actually give a damn about Iranian children.
