British official’s meeting with separatist leader unjustifiable

TEHRAN, May 3 (MNA) -- Kazem Jalali, a member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, blasted on Tuesday a meeting between the British Foreign Minister Jack Straw and the leader of a separatist group in Khuzestan province.
Since the British government has diplomatic relations with Tehran with regard to country’s nuclear issue, it is completely unreasonable that British officials meet or hold talks with groups that claim to overthrow the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jalali told the Mehr News Agency.

“The Iranian parliament and foreign ministry should follow the issue and the British government and Mr. Straw in particular should stand accountable,” he commented.

Referring to Straw’s recent denial of the report, the MP stressed that the parliament has received valid information that the meeting had taken place.

The outbreak of ethnic tension came in Ahvaz, near the border with Iraq, after a forged letter was distributed in Khuzestan province calling on the president to relocate Arabs. The letter was supposedly signed by former president adviser Mohammad Ali Abtahi.

Arabs form three percent of the Iranian nation.

This is distraction - and it is also an attempt of the British to play games.

These types of events from the British only work to keep the Mullahs in power.

If Straw gave a damn about the Iranian people he would admit to the bad policies of supporting the Mullahs over the years, and side with the policy approach advised by those such as Michael Ledeen and Iman Foroutan.

Straw and Blair don't care about Freedom - and it is a mistake for the American people to believe otherwise.

Yazdi can say GOOD WORDS, GOOD THOUGHTS, AND GOOD DEEDS -
but it doesn't mean that he is SINCERE. What happened with his plans to fly into Iran and save our people? What the hell was that all about? Psychotic plans that one does not intend to implement are more destructive than no plans at all.
