The Iran Freedom Walk: Day 12 -- Friday, May 27, 2005
Day 12: College Park, MD to Union Station, Washington, DC
The Iran Freedom Marchers were almost giddy during today's easy 8-mile stroll through the District of Columbia. Well-wishers were abundant and the radio interviews continued non-stop for Dr. Corsi, as he led the walk with a cell phone pressed to his ear.

Media outlets continue to commit to covering the Iran Freedom Rally on Saturday in Lafayette Park, and that news seemed to outweigh the sunburns, cold, wind, and blisters that the marchers have endured as the group's path took them past Trinity College, Catholic University and other Washington landmarks. With loud shouts of "We've done it!" and "We made it!", the marchers arrived at Union Station early in the afternoon.

Tomorrow morning starting at 10:00 am, they will walk together from Union Station the last 3 miles to Lafayette Park to participate in the Iran Freedom Rally, featuring Richard Perle, Ambassador Mike Palmer, and Jerry Corsi.
Even as the freedom marchers prepared for their final effort, U.S. news sources were reporting new information by reporter Bill Gertz http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=44496 that Iran has already acquired all of the components necessary to complete an atomic weapon. An intelligence source cited in the article seemed shocked by the news.
Dr. Jerry Corsi and the Iranian Freedom Marchers undertook their walk to focus attention on the threat posed by the mullahs' regime, and the plight of the Iranian people. Tomorrow at noon in Lafayette Park, they will join the other speakers in calling for peaceful regime change in Iran.

Had 300 to 500 at the rally by the White House, mostly Iranian I'd guess from what I read. _________________ The Sun Is Rising In The West!Soon It Will Shine on All of Iran!

That would be an accurate assesment. But I'd say closer to 500. |

Strange had 20 times the turnout of the Free Muslims Against Terrorism Rally, but I have seen zero-zip-nada press coverage except from World Net Daily!
At the Free Muslim rally, some sad the media presence outnumbered the supporters! Must be the two-headed-calf syndrome, actual muslims against terrorism! _________________ The Sun Is Rising In The West!Soon It Will Shine on All of Iran! |
