... actually the antecedent of "it" in the second sentence is really unclear ... some of these lefties need a remedial composition course ...

First Comrade, they need course in remedial political thinking, LOL. How can an Iranian consider themselves "progressive" and support the Mullahs? What kind of progress are we talking about?
