This is too funny .. Fatemeh Hashemi, Rafsanjani's infamous daughter, who only last year bought the most expensive mansion in London, is campaigning for her father in Iran. At a student gathering in Kermanshah she claimed that the rumors about her father being one of the richest men in the world was not true, that her father wasn't even one of the 100 most richest people in Rafsanjan ... Laughing Roo ke neest sange paye ghazvin ham neest ...

According to the recent Time piece, Rafsanjani has hired beautiful girls with lipstick and hejab falling off their heads to campaign for him

And this is the same bastard who presided over revolutionary courts that took 16 year old girls 25 years ago and gangraped them and shot them dead for wearing lipstick!

and these must be the hipster boys he's hired to campaign for him

Truly sad what people in Iran will do for money ...

Very sad when you think of all of those thousands of boys and girls who died alone and suffering in the darkness of hideous prison cells for caring, having courage and integrity ...

Amazing, who and what he is paying to upgrade his image!

Dear Spenta, if those are the same people pictured in the "Fake Rafsanjani Parade" thread over in General Discussion, I got the definite impression they were being sarcastic, witness the people with their mouths gagged with 'Hashemi' stickers.

Actually those are simply supporters of Rafsanjani. Whether you want to admit it or not, people in Iran want the vote, and the pictures you provided prove that. The allegation that every single person in Iran doing something you dont like is "paid by the government" is getting kind of lame now - don't you think?

Dear Rasker

Some are definately being sarcastic, but others are clearly getting paid.

As for Iranaholic, yes I'm sure every cool dude and lipstick wearing young girl in Iran supports a filthy ruthless Mullah who has stolen billions from the starving masses in Iran Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I guess they're campaigning for Rafsanjani even on this board Laughing

So your logic is that anyone good-looking can't possibly want to vote and are "paid by the government" right? If I show pictures of ugly people campaigning for Rafsanjani, were they all paid too?

Hmm, since Rafsanjani presided over those mass executions of activists, it might be an effective form of satire to form his bumper stickers into a noose and wear it around one's neck. Better just to scrawl 'hangman' on his posters perhaps.

This so called 'election' is really looking like a race between the Greedy, the Crazy and the Impotent.

BTW, we really need to get a picture of that mansion of Ratsanjani/his daughter posted here/distributed in Iran so the suffering masses of Iran can see what their suffering is truly about. Does anyone have that Forbes story on Ratso? ("The Billionaire Mullah').

Hmm, now that mansion would be a wonderful place for the Anjoman group to have their next sit-in/park-in! Twisted Evil
