ActivistChat Open Request From Mr. Ganji

Despite the fact that the whole world is now aware of Mr. Ganji courageous hunger strike in Iran’s Evin prison, and appreciate his opposition to Islamist regime in recent years, Mr. Ganji must open his past profile for Iranian people judgement and decision.
Due to the fact that it has become a common practice among Free World Politicians /leaders and public figures to disclose all infromation regarding their own past profile to avoid problems in future therefore, ActivistChat is expecting from Mr. Ganji and recommending when he arrives in USA to provide full and complete information regarding his service as a former Revolutionary Guard interrogator/ Militia Executioner with list of possible victims of interrogation. Mr. Ganji information will be valuable for history of Iran and good lessons for future generation and others not to repeat the same mistakes . It is the responsibility of Mr. Ganji to clarify this issue in his profile truthfully this can be a valuable lesson for others ....

The ActivistChat members always supported Freedom of all political prisoners as pre condition for FREE World G8 demands from Islamist regime ....

We are supporting the call by Mr. Ahmad Batabi and Ms. Simin Behabahni ... for hunger strike and freeing all political prisoners.

Akbar Ganji, a former Revolutionary Guard interrogator-turned- dissident, gave the signal for the campaign last week during his current tour of Western capitals. Ganji, recently released from political prison after a solo hunger strike in Tehran, has called for a massive hunger strike, inside and outside Iran, in sympathy with political prisoners in the Islamic republic.

It seems that they are making another KHATAMI for us?!
Wake up & see what is happening around you.
Now Mr. Ganji has all the ears he is asking for!?

Who Is Ganji?
- Is he the same person which helped bring about that revolution and install this theocracy?
- Is he the same guy which backed Khomeini and his cronies?
- What was his function as part of Militia Force, list of prisoners name exected by him?
- Mr. Ganji must open his past profile to the public before asking forgiveness from Million victims.
- Is he follower of Islam and Imam Ali ...?
- Is Mr. Ganji follower of Montazari?
- If he is Imam Ali follower then he is not secular.
- If he wants to draw attention to the IR’s crimes against humanity, we say fine. We have nothing to lose by his appeal to the world regarding the evil of this regime. But he should not expect any sympathy from Victims of Terror Masters.

Mr. Ganji must answer many questions before he might be accepted in the Iranian opposition community.

Forgiveness Can Be Given By Victims Family and Future Free Iran Justice System Not By Any Opposition Leaders or Groups ....:

- Despite the fact that the whole world is now aware of the saga of the journalist Akbar Ganji ( Former Militia Executioner …) and his hunger strike in Iran’s Evin prison, and appreciate his opposition to Islamist regime in recent years only the Millions of victims and their family may decide to forgive Akbar Ganji …. as executioner in the Islamist Miltia forces …..

- It is well known fact that the future leadership of Iran depends on the people’s political choice between a Secular or Non-Secular / Free Society or Close Society … path in the overthrow of the Islamist regime.
- We the people and supporters of Free Society and Secular Democracy reject any person who has been associated with IslamoFascist Tyranny Security forces in the past, and they should not expect to be part of new future leadership team , unless the future FREE Iran with Free Society and Secular democratic Justice system can clear these people based on evidence.
- No future Iranian opposition leaders have any rights to forgive the individual associated with IslamoFascist Tyranny Security forces, only future justice system with victims family as members of jury have rights to forgive these individuals.
- Akbar Ganji, Sazagara, Khatami .... should not expect to be forgiven by any Iranian opposition group or leaders for their crimes against humanity until Iranian people can establish sophisticated fair justice system with general acceptable International standard to deal with crimes against humanity..

Hunger Strike for Human Rights in Iran

The human rights situation in Iran continues to deteriorate. Petitions and protests to end the abuses have gone unanswered. During the past year, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s government has sought to monopolize power in Iran by silencing and suffocating all independent and dissenting voices. The suppression of demonstrators in Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, and Kurdistan, the silencing of labor, women, and student movements and the vicious attacks on demonstrators throughout the past year, are all evidence of the ongoing and abhorrent human rights violations by the Islamic Republic of Iran. By arresting and imprisoning intellectuals, lawyers, political activists, and labor leaders and by forcing the resignation or early retirement of dozens of University professors, Ahmadinejad’s government is pursuing polices that are reminiscent of some of the darkest days of the Islamic Republic. In such an atmosphere, Iran’s democracy movement calls for the unity and support of people of conscience from around the world. Without such unity, there is little hope of stemming the appalling human rights violations in Iran and the growing authoritarianism of the regime.

In response to this deteriorating situation, we the undersigned lend our support and welcome the suggestion of Akbar Ganji, Iran’s leading dissident intellectual who was recently freed after 2222 days of imprisonment, for a global hunger strike that demands the release of three prominent political prisoners namely: Ali Akbar Mousavi Khoeni, a student leader and former member of parliament, Dr Ramin Jahanbegloo, a philosopher, professor and public intellectual and Mansour Osanloo, a prominent labor leader and executive director of the Worker’s Syndicated Union.

Additionally, we demand the immediate and unconditional release of all political detainees from the Islamic Republic’s jails but we specifically demand the release of the above mentioned persons who symbolize various groups of prisoners of conscience in Iran. Should their release not be secured, we, the undersigned, will begin a co-ordinated global hunger strike from July 14 through July 16, 2006 to draw attention to our demands. We ask for the support and solidarity of people from around the world who share our goals for a democratic Iran and an immediate end to all violations of human rights.

Time: July 14th to 16th, 2006
Place: New York — In front of the UN with Akbar Ganji

The Undersigned

Sample of Letter and Possible Future PETITION Draft FREE Iran Protest and Proclamation :
Taazi Occupation Of Iran and Tazzis Atrocities, Plea For FREE Iran, FREE Society, and Secular Democracy

To: Journalists, Free World Leaders, News Media CNN, BBC, AP, AFP , Reuters UN officials, and Freedom-loving Activists and Bloggers

The ethics of life are the pursuit of awareness about truth for ourselves and others. The ultimate goal is total awareness by increasing public awareness about the truth .

"Crush not even the tiny ant that beareth a grain of corn, for she hath life, and sweet life is a boon."
From The Epic of Kings Masterpiece By Ferdowsi (935-1020) the world famous Persian (Iranian) poet.
Who Is a Taazi?
Being a Taazi is a frame of mind. Being a Taazi is a reflection of one's heart. Genetics have nothing to do with it. One is not born a Taazi by race or place of birth. One becomes a Taazi by choice.
A Taazi is someone who holds the nomadic Bedouin way of life and code of ethics above that of common human decency. A Taazi is someone who is willing to die and kill in the name of Allah. A Taazi is someone who has turned a deaf ear to his own heart and only listens to the call of hate and violence. A Taazi is someone who feels compelled to carry the Bedouin Barbarian Bylaws to ever-expanding spheres of servitude.

Islamic Barbarian Theocracy: Invaders and Occupiers of Iran Refer To It As TAAZI:
The name Islamic Republic of Iran is a misnomer. There is nothing Iranian about this regime, and these terrorists should not be allowed to use the word "Iran" to describe their regime. From now on, we the people refuse to refer to this illegitimate, tyrannical, barbaric, immoral, and foreign occupying force as "IRI," and will simply refer to it as the Islamic Republic, which is the epitome of all that is Taazi. The best examples of traitor-Taazis are the pro-Islamic Republic Taazis.

WE, the undersigned, as members of the civilized freedom-loving people of the world protest and demanding from responsible journalists, writers, scholars and free world leaders to be fair with understanding about truth by differentiating Iranian people from TAAZI ruling class. Call urgently to refer to Iran and Iranian people correctly in their statements, News Reports headline, articles and recognize the following facts:
- Iranian is a culture.
- Iranian people should be considered as hostages and prisoners of TAAZI Islamofascist Clerical Regime without any control over the key decisions and their own destination.
- Iran has lost her Sovereignty as nation in past 27 years under Taazi occupation.
- " Iran Says" in the News report must be changed to "TAAZI Says"
- President-elect Ahmadinejad in News report must be changed to "TAAZI President Ahmadinejad" or "TAAZI President-thug Ahmadinejad"
- Iran's Foreign Minister, in News report must be changed to TAAZI Foreign Minister .
- Freedom-loving Iranian people are considering the TAAZI Islamofascist as illegitimate system.
- Iranian people are declaring any contracts with the TAAZI Islamofascist as illegitimate and it is subject to review after Iran becomes FREE nation.
- Freedom-loving Iranian people are declaring the TAAZI as Terror/Torture Masters and ask the FREE world not to negotiate with Terrorists and Hostage Takers.
- Freedom-loving Iranian people are declaring the TAAZI Islamofascist Clerics and their TAAZI Supporters as a small minority and the Virus of Iranian Society.

"To sin by silence, when we should protest, Makes cowards out of men." Ella Wheeler Wilcox (November 5, 1850 -- October 30, 1919)

"Human beings are all members of one body.
They are created from the same essence.
When one member is in pain,
The others cannot rest.
If you do not care about the pain of others,
You do not deserve to be called a human being."
A Quote from Famous Persian Poet Saadi Shirazi
( 13th century Persian poet, from Shiraz the birthplace of Ms. Zahra Kazemi)

Iran: Tentative Moves toward a Broad Anti-Regime Platform

Amir Taheri, Arab News

Since the election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last summer, efforts have been made to bring together opponents of the Islamic republic with a plan for action on specific issues. It now seems that those efforts have met with some success, enabling the opposition to coordinate tactics against the Ahamdinejad administration.

"Everyone has the feeling that things are coming to a head (in Iran)," says a former Cabinet minister under President Muhammad Khatami. "People seem ready to forget (past) disputes and work together to save the nation from the most dangerous crisis in its recent history."

Efforts to harmonize oppositional action come after years of fruitless negotiations to form a united front capable of offering a credible alternative to the regime.

The reasons for the past failure might have been evident from the start.

A good part of the opposition consists of individuals and groups that, having participated in the Khomeinist revolution of 1978-79, have broken with it over the years. While not admitting that Iran is on the wrong trajectory, these former Khomeinists are not prepared to condemn the revolution as the source of the nation's misfortunes, including an eight-year war with Iraq and more than 150,000 executions, over the past 27 years.

Another major bloc within the opposition consists of those who speak in the name of Iranian nationalism and/or pluralistic democracy and see the revolution itself as the evil child of religious despotism.

Then, there are those that have waged armed struggle against the Islamic republic in the name of ethnic rights, religious differences and ideological causes.

Another reason for the cleavage is the fact that a good part of the opposition, ranging from monarchists to Communists and passing by conservative republicans, has had its leadership in exile for years. The exiles have held a series of meetings, most recently in Berlin and London, to harmonize their activities, without, however, agreeing on a common platform.

The arrival into exile in recent months of several former prominent figures of the Islamic regime, including four Cabinet ministers, a former mayor of Tehran and some former commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has helped facilitate contact between internal and external dissidents.

However, the real impetus for greater harmony among opposition groups has come from a new form of opposition based on economic and/or social grievances. Within these new groups, university students, and industrial workers may have the greatest potential for challenging the regime in a meaningful way.

The emerging consensus within the opposition appears to be based on at least six points.

The first is that past differences should be set aside in favor of joint action. Some anti-regime groups are even prepared to envisage a broad front that would include former figures of the regime who have decided to distance themselves form the radical Ahmadinejad administration. The idea is that, provided they are allocated a certain space, many former regime insiders will be ready to switch sides as the crisis intensifies.

The second is that anti-regime action should be organized around specific issues related to the interests of broad segments of society. In that spirit, opposition groups from different backgrounds have worked together in support of a series of industrial strikes that have hit various cities, including Tehran, in recent weeks.

The third point is that any attempt at a speedy politicization of economic, social, ethnic and cultural demands could be counterproductive. This is why most opposition groups, including those in exile, have refrained from claiming credit for recent workers' strikes and student demonstrations. The emerging analysis within the opposition is that the regime is more vulnerable when forced to offer economic, social and cultural concessions that could undermine its totalitarian hold on society.

The fourth point is that most opposition groups have agreed to set their maximum demands with regard to the future form of government on hold. The monarchists are no longer insisting on a straight return to the pre-revolution system while the disillusioned Khomeinists have toned down their opposition to a constitutional referendum that might allow a return to monarchy in some form. Even the People's Combatants Organization (Mujahedin Khalq) now agrees that the future form of government should be decided by the people.

The fifth point is that the issue of Iran's nuclear ambitions must not be allowed to divert domestic and international attention from growing unrest inside the country.

Opposition leaders believe that Ahamdinejad is deliberately seeking a limited military clash with the United States on the nuclear issue to defuse internal tension and rally the people behind his increasingly beleaguered administration. While no one in the opposition is publicly asking the United States to withdraw the threat of military action, everyone agrees that any limited operation that would wound the regime but leave it alive and in place could give the Khomeinist system a second life.

Finally, there is agreement that the initial phase of action against the Ahmadinejad administration must be led by independent personalities with no partisan affiliations. Student activists, leaders of unofficial trade unions, women's rights advocates, well-known academics, managers of nongovernmental organizations, and even independent theologians, are expected to feature prominently in the initial stages of what opposition leaders believe is a decisive showdown with the regime.

The new consensus is already facing its first test over the campaign launched in favor of political prisoners.

A number of prominent figures inside Iran have already echoed Ganji's call. These include Dr. Muhammad Maleki, a former chancellor of Tehran University under the Khomeinist regime, Mrs. Simin Behbahani, possibly the most popular Persian poet alive, and prominent Iranian-Kurdish writer Jalal Qavami. Mrs. Shirin Ebadi, the Iranian winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, is also expected to join, although she has been reluctant to challenge the regime openly. A number of prominent theologians in Qom and Mash'had, including Ayatollah Hassan San'ei, have also been contacted, to endorse the campaign.

No one knows quite how many political prisoners there are in the Islamic republic. (Estimates by human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, vary between 3,000 and 85,000. According to Iranian human rights groups, more than 2.5 million Iranians have been in and out of prison on various charges since 1979.)

"It is a measure of our national tragedy that almost anybody who is somebody has spent some time as political prisoner in the past quarter of a century," says Maleki. "We must make it clear that we cannot take any more of this. Enough is enough. No civilized society would put people in jail because of disagreement with the rulers."

Ahmadinejad is trying to cast himself in the role of a champion of Islam against the "infidel" by adopting a tough stance on the nuclear issue and preparing for a showdown with the G-8 next month. The challenge to his administration, however, may well be coming from Iran's factories, offices, universities, and religious seminaries.

Akbar Ganji & Other Dissidents
Date: Mon, 10 Jul 2006 00:10:18 -0700

Dear All

While ago I asked if anyone has his work history background with IRI, but so far other than articles I have not received any documentation.

Although I am not in agreement with his ideology, we should support his campaign for the release of the political prisoners in Iran as this is a mutual demand among all opposition fractions.

Ganji was a member of IRG and worked at the Iranian Embassy in Turkey, in his capacity he was involved with pro-regime propaganda. I do not know of anything else and I doubt if he was a torturer.

In my opinion the dissidents from inside Iran are the only ones that can bring about the regime change.

They are the only ones who are organized!

We should support them by any means possible while criticizing their mistakes and diversions.
Unity is a must for overthrowing IRI!

Once again; I am talking about organizing resistance networks, demonstrations, grass root movements and a revolution inside the country, and not the leadership. We can not do it from here!

Remember addition of one more voice to ours is valuable! And I am not talking about making him the lead neither!

The Idea of student confederation by Amir Abbas Fakhravar and a middle management coordinator role for it among the women’s equal right movement, workers’ movement and the human right’s movements is a fantastic one and should be supported by all opposition figures. The younger Iranians & students should be given the front runners position.

The future political system of Iran and its leaders shall be chosen through democratic and freely held elections and refrendum, until then, we shall persist and remain vigilant in this quest and process for democracy in Iran.

Ramin Etebar, M.D.

As part of Islamic Revolutionary Guard, you can never trust the man. He may want to cover up for his past with these announcements. As long as he (just like Froohars) donot condem Khomenie and the revolution plague that they brought on Iran, they are guilty and cannot be trusted.
