LAST DITCH EFFORTS BY MULLAH'S WELL GREASED

LOBBY MACHINE TO SAVE THE EVIL EMPIRE

For the past 28 years, the Mullah's lobby machine has been pounding the world relentlessly. Their mission is to protect also, project an image of righteousness for bunch of corrupt, common thieves and savage throw backs, who will resort to anything in order to stay in power.

The Mullah's lobby machine has been extremely successful. All thanks to unlimited Petro Dollars budget, Mullah's have allocated to their lobby groups.

Also, certain oil, natural gas and other special interest groups/companies who see having war monger, corrupt clergy at the helm, will give them a healthy bottom line and tidy profit margin.

The vehicle to obtain such objectives are, certain higher learning institutions and their ever present self sold academia, working day and night to reach Mullah's directives.

If you look at the companies sponsoring the American Iranian Council, it looks more like "Who is Who Directory" of the oil, natural gas and other energy/financial sectors than just spending little money, promoting cultural heritage of Iran.

These lobby groups have no shame. They are promoting truly one of the most hated regimes in entire Iranian history.

Iranian people correctly, compare the present ruling clergy to Mongol's invasion of Iran or the second Taazi Arab invasion that decimated Iran.

The Mullah lobby/apologist groups keep their branding Iron red hot! Anyone daring to inquire about their questionable activities, is branded "Neo-Con" , Fascist, Leon Trotsky follower who was a Menshevik (apparently the self sold academia did not know when branding people)!! Zionist, Israel Lackey or war monger.

They have many hats that use on various occasions to further the cause of their Mullah Masters. One day they wear the Human rights hat (In favor of Mullah's. Not Iranian people!)

Next day they appear in congress testifying as "Iran Experts" who are supposed to be impartial. Yet, the weigh is tilted toward Mullah's goals and not American nor Iranian people welfare.

They court Head of the United Nations, Chief of IAEA, former Secretary of State (Clinton's Administration), US Senators and Congress persons, media executives, News Papers, TV and Radio with expensive Persian Carpets, Caviar and other precious gifts to get ahead of the game and stay ahead.

In addition to above, they just use cash to payoff some of the local Iranian media where the Iranian ex-pats are concentarted.

Having said all about their success for the past 28 years, currently the tides are now turning against their efforts. All thanks to Mr. Ahmadi Nejad and his recent trip to New York City.

After all, people are not deaf and dumb as these lobby groups hope for. They see and hear Mullah's atavism view through, their vile and repulsive selected President Ahmadi Nejad.

The negative review's about Mullah's, their president and policies in the West have caused the lobby groups to get into over drive mode. They will be using every asset accumulated during the last 28 years to assist them in defending Mullah's and their hated regime.

Forwarded, The FRONTLINE Interview is one of such last ditch activities. They are running scared. They know the world will not put up or tolerate these arrogant, anti human Mullah's any longer.

It will be amusing to see these people trying to defend bunch of cut throats in public at no avail.

Just a friendly reminder. If you are going to watch this program, please wear your knee high rubber boots!

THE "BS" WILL BE PILING HIGH AT "PBS" BY THESE SHAMELESS PEOPLE FOR VIEWERS JUST LIKE YOU!

In order to see this you have to look at the weekly archives (Aarshive hafte) then look under Wednesday November 14 and click on either 256k or 56K- it is written in Persian.
What is funny, is that at the end some guy from Sweden calls and tells Amirahmadi, he is the best spokesman for the regime and they should give him a medal for doing such a good job on their behalf!! Laughing

Amirahmadi, talks about "building a good relationship between US & mullahs, and trade between the two countries, that Iranian People would benefit"!!!! & "he actually has a plan to implement that"!!! only if the US will listen to him Shocked
Someone should tell him KHAR KHODETI.... A raghead in Western garb, talking from both sides of his mouth, confusing matters...listen and judge for yourself.

From: "shahriar" <iranian@telus.net>

The efforts of Liberal Appeasers, Mullah's Lobby Groups and Self Sold Academia are beginning to pay off.

Even Israel and USA and starting to think about the Mullah's with NUKE in Iran!.Thanks to all mentioned above, and sanction busters such as Austria, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, Germany and even as it was disclosed last week, England are hard at work breaking sanctions.

Only USA, Israel and France are left alone carrying the full load until now. But, not for long.

They are even thinking of changing their view and go with the flow. They will rely on MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) and will let Mullah's get their few precious nuclear bombs. Guess they don't know Mad Fanatic Mullah's!

But, as mentioned. Thanks to the efforts of Liberal Appeasers, Mullah's Lobby and self sold academia, a new phenomenon is taking shape in the region.

The sale of conventional Military Arms, Air Craft, Missiles, Anti Missiles, Tanks, boats and destroyers has increased 20 fold!

Middle East has truly become the dumping ground for every known tools of mass death and destruction from any place possible.

Every arms dealer in the world is in Middle East, pushing their goods of mass murder. The Last Air Show in Dubai was the most successful show ever! All the major participants went home very happy.

With the letters on intent from various Middle Eastern countries adding up to hundreds of Billion US Dollars.

Even Europe is now in the game to buy the $400 Billion Dollars Missile Defense shield against Mullah's Putt-putt third hand rockets!

The Russian were so busy pushing the light arms like the below picture and all their new bells and whistles, hardly had any time to talk to reporters. It was a free for all dealers show with real serious money to go around.

Now, what does all this stock piling means? Well, they have to be used somewhere. You can rest assure on that. They have always used it and will always use it.

When they do. We know who to blame! We are not going to blame Neo Con's, Zionists, Bush or his policies, No! We will point our fingers to Liberal Appeasers, Mullah's Lobby, Self sold academia.

Go on! Invite Ahmadinejad to luncheon in New York that was sponsored with Mashdi Amir Ahmadi (Nejad?) and the shameless AIC who he chairs or that Oil Companies Profit-Soar Mohammad Sahimi and the rest of you know, who you are!

It was your message of NO WAR. NO SANCTIONS, ONLY MULLAH'S BLOOD MONEY has brought about this mass arms sale to the region!

Enjoy your victory! You have earned it. Blood Money!

Every life is lost, you are responsible! Every home destroyed, you are responsible! Every child becomes Orphan, you are responsible!

This time around, we will hold you accountable for your actions.

We are after you and will expose you and your writings everywhere!

Instead of supporting Sanctions to help replace this Mad Mullah regime with a Rational, Secular, Democratic Government, you all elected Mad Mullah's Dictatorship! To Support Mullah's and their lunatic plans.

We shall never forgive you!

YOU ARE ALL TRAITORS TO HUMANITY!

FULLFILMENT OF BIBLE PROPHECY?

China is spending over 40% of it's national income on this Army! USA has only 9 aircraft carriers.

This year China started construction of 12 aircraft carriers and more to come in the next year. The world is asking why? Who will attack China?

The proper question is which country China is getting ready to attack? In the last survey taken in Japan, 8 out of 10 people are convinced China will attack Japan in the next 5 years!

First it will be the Island of FORMOSA or as is called now TAIWAN. Then, JAPAN for what they did to China during the WWII and? The entire world will see emergence of the new superpower.

China will take over all Asian countries. The SHANGHAI CLUB where even Russia is a member is designed for this very purpose. Mullah's have been begging to be accepted in this CLUB!

If the Mullah's are still in power, you can bet Iran will fall into the hands of China for good!

Then, our lazy citizens must start learning Chinese and dying in millions! Dr. Amir Ahmadi and Trita Parsi will have new masters and role in defending China's case as the new owners of Iran!!!!

Still wish to be indifferent about your country? Let the Mullah's run your country? Take notice that you have been forewarned what is in the works!!

PETITION:

Amnesty International Must Stop Promoting Mullahs’ Lobbyists

Amnesty International (AI) has sponsored an event in Los Angeles under the title,“Human Rights in Iran : How to Move Forward” on February 22, 08. Mr. Trita Parsi, president of NIAC, who is one of the most dedicated activists for establishing normal and unconditional relations between the religious dictatorship in Iran and the U.S. is one of the panelist in this event. This is not the first time that AI is manipulated by NIAC. On July 26, 2007, AI was one of the sponsors of an event organized by NIAC under the title, “Human Rights in Iran and U.S. Foreign Policy Options”.

NIAC is not a human rights organization. One cannot find any reference to human rights in its mission statement, goals, programs or anywhere else. None of the many urgent actions issued by Amnesty International to stop imminent execution of political prisoners or stoning of men and women to death, has been distributed by NIAC. NIAC has not made even one statement in condemnation of Mullahs for stoning, torture, execution of political prisoners, or the treatment of women and religious minorities.

We should not allow the Amnesty International to be influenced more by lobby groups and strongly object to Amnesty for promoting them. We have to remind AI of its real mission in condemning human rights violations in Iran instead of promoting an organization that does not have any concern about human rights violations in Iran .

Please sign the petition at the following link:

http://mehr.org/petition_NIAC_AI2.htm

The signed petitions will be forwarded to Mr. Cox, Executive Director of Amnesty. You may also show your objection by contacting him directly. Just one quick phone call or writing a short line or two would go a long way in voicing our outrage with NIAC and its promoters.

Thank you.

Pro-Iran Group Wants Iran Diplomacy

Tuesday, April 8, 2008 8:54 AM

By: Kenneth R. Timmerman

An Iranian-American lobbying organization that has been funded by grants from the congressionally-mandated National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and by left-wing groups is holding an invitation-only conference in a U.S. Senate office building on Tuesday, calling for “reassessing” U.S. strategy toward Iran.

The lobbying group, the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), boasts on its Web site of the grant money received “in the past” from NED, which by statute is not allowed to fund groups whose purpose is to lobby Congress. The group also says it has received funding from the Open Society Institute of left-wing billionaire, George Soros.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., is listed as a keynote speaker for Tuesday’s event. Her appearance as the congressional host of the conference has angered many Iranian-Americans. Some 700,000 Iranian-Americans live in California , many of whom fled Iran after the fall of the Shah in 1979.

Dr. Mohammad Parvin, a human rights activist in the San Francisco bay area, called NIAC “a group that lobbies for unconditional relations with the religious dictatorship in Iran .”

Parvin has posted an online petition at www.mehr.org asking Feinstein to withdraw her patronage of the conference.

“Having known you as an advocate and defender of the human rights, it was a shock to hear the news of your participation as a keynote speaker in a conference held by National Iranian American Council (NIAC) on April 8, 2008,” the petition says.

The pro-government Tehran daily Aftab has referred to the NIAC as the “Iranian lobby” in the United States and said the group was pursuing “unofficial diplomacy” to get U.S. economic sanctions lifted.

NIAC denies that it is a lobbying group, but acknowledges that it does “advocate the interests of the Iranian-American community . . . on Capitol Hill.”

In a 1999 presentation at a conference held in Cyprus , NIAC founders Trita Parsi and Siamak Namazi, a U.S.-trained lawyer, called for the creation of an Iranian-American lobby “to create a balance between the competing Middle Eastern lobbies. Without it, Iran-bashing may become popular in the Congress again.”

Parsi and Namazi made clear in their written presentation that the “competing lobby” was the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, AIPAC.

According to Hassan Dailoleslam, an Iranian-American political activist who has researched the Tehran ties of NIAC’s founders, Namazi controls the “Atieh Bahar” company in Tehran, “the leading consulting firm for foreign oil companies dealing with Tehran,” and has close, ongoing contacts “with the top leaders in Iran.”

Dailoeslam calls Namazi a member of “ Iran ’s oil mafia,” because of his company’s role as an intermediary for companies such as Norway’s Statoil and France ’s Total.

“The most recent debacle of Atieh enterprise was in March of 2007, when the CEO of the French oil company Total SA was charged for bribery of Iranian high officials to secure contracts,” Dailoeslam says.

During several previous events on Capitol Hill, NIAC has attempted to build support in Congress for direct U.S.-Iran negotiations, and an end to U.S. sanctions on Iran .

The U.S. sanctions, which date from a 1995 executive order signed by President Clinton, make it illegal for U.S. companies to do business in Iran . But some U.S. companies continue to sell products in Iran through foreign subsidiaries and offshore companies.

NIAC received a $50,000 grant last year from the PARSA Community Foundation, a non-profit grant-making association to which many wealthy Iranians in exile have contributed.

Vahid Alaghband, a partner in the London-based Balli Group plc, has been an “ambassador” and major donor of the PARSA Community Foundation.

The U.S. Department of Commerce issued a Temporary Denial Order against Balli and several of its subsidiaries on March 21, suspending the group’s ability to export licensed U.S. high technology products.

The Commerce Department acted after obtaining evidence showing that Balli and others cited in the Order “knowingly reexported three U.S. origin aircraft to Iran in violation of the Export Administration Regulations [EAR], and are preparing to reexport three additional U.S. origin aircraft to Iran in further violation of the EAR.”

Balli purchased three of the Boeing 747s from United Airlines and leased them to Blue Airways in Armenia, which reportedly is operating the aircraft on flights in and out of Iran on behalf of an Iranian company, Mahan Airways, controlled by the family of former president Ali Akbar Rafsanjani.

The other three aircraft are being overhauled in South Korea , Alaghband told Newsmax on Monday.

“These aircraft definitely have not been subleased to Mahan,” Alaghband told Newsmax. “We would have had to approve that, and we haven’t,” he added.

However, Alaghband said he and his partners took “very seriously” the U.S. Commerce Department Denial Order, which also placed him on the list of Denied Persons, a black list that is widely distributed within the exporting community.

He did not exclude the possibility that the planes were being used to carry passengers and cargo in and out of Iran . “We’ve told our leasee to satisfy the Americans, or we will cancel the lease,” he said. “We have served them notice.”

Alaghband’s company controls the aircraft through subsidiaries based in London, which are wholly owned by two companies registered in the Cayman Islands, according to the British corporate registry.

Information on who owns the Cayman Island companies — Crypton, Ltd, and Global Securities Ltd. — is not publicly available.

Balli also represents Caterpillar and Xerox through its subsidiaries in Iran .

During a conference in Tehran last June organized by NIAC co-founder Siamak Namazi, Vahid Alaghband’s brother and business partner, Hassan Alaghband, made a PowerPoint presentation on doing business with Iran that used the group’s Caterpillar franchise as a case in point.

Namazi was one of a “generation of Westernized Iranians who went back to Iran ” after the 1979 Revolution, Vahid Alaghband told Newsmax. “He set up a legal practice to counsel Western companies” on how to do business in Iran , he added.

The June 2007 conference was not aimed at violating U.S. sanctions, but at training a new generation of business leaders who would have a “more normal way of dealing with the world.”

“These are people the government of Iran hates,” he said. “This is not a government organization.”

Nevertheless, among the speakers at the conference was Abbas Maleki, a former deputy foreign minister and advisor to the Supreme Leader, who has frequently been used in the past when the regime wants to “make nice to foreigners,” says Washington Institute for Near East Policy scholar, Dr. Patrick Clawson.

Alaghband said he did not know Trita Parsi. PARSA has described the grant to Parsi’s organization as intended for purposes of voter registration, not lobbying.

NIAC has invited former Undersecretary of State Thomas Pickering and former U.N. weapons inspectors Hans Blix and David Albright to lead a panel on “finding the nuclear fix” to end the stand-off between Iran and the international community.

Writing to protest the NIAC event on behalf of the National Union for Democracy in Iran , Dr. Saeed Ganji said that NIAC poses as a group seeking to advance the interests of Iranian-Americans. “It has spent the great majority of its energy and time, however, on promoting the interests of the Islamic Republic. For this reason, only a small number of Iranians support NIAC or participate in its activities.”

NIAC refused Ganji’s request to attend the conference as a simple observer on the grounds that it was only open to media and congressional staff.

“The most recent debacle of Atieh enterprise was in March of 2007, when the CEO of the French oil company Total SA was charged for bribery of Iranian high officials to secure contracts,” Dailoeslam says.

hassan.dai@yahoo.com
www.iranianlobby.com

The Fraud of the National Iranian American Council
By Hassan Daioleslam

FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 19, 2008

National Iranian American Council (NIAC) and its president Trita Parsi have arranged to receive congressional appropriated funds from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) through an expedited process. They have spent these funds on trivial activities aimed at enhancing false-flag Iranian NGOs, that were in fact managed and controlled by Iranian Deputy Ministers or high level officials - making a mockery of the term “Non-Governmental.” At the same time, NIAC and Trita Parsi have lobbied the congress to stop appropriating other funds meant for dissident democratic movements and NGOs in Iran through non-NIAC channels. While NIAC’s actions appear paradoxical, it is a cohesive, targeted and deceptive tactic that has three distinct but related goals:

- to block resources to the NGOs not controlled by the government,

- to provide resources to their showcase NGOs,

- and to funnel the American taxpayers’ money to the Iranian lobby in the US to benefit Tehran’s goals.

NIAC’s actions with respect to the congressional appropriated funds are suspect of defrauding American taxpayers and deserve nothing short of a full congressional investigation.

NIAC obtained NED congressional appropriated funds

National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is a private, non-profit, grant-making organization that receives an annual appropriation from the U.S. Congress through the Department of State.

In 2002, NED, in an unusually expeditious review process, provided a grant to NIAC to “design and implement a two-day media training workshop in Iran for forty staff members from five civic groups...”

It is noteworthy that NIAC’s published mission is focused on empowering Iranian Americans in the US civil life, and has no provision on civil life inside Iran. It is baffling why such a newly founded organization as its first action item applied for funds to do capacity building in Tehran. The first grant was obtained in less than 4 weeks after NIAC was created. NED requires a two-month review process after the application is submitted.

The original grant was renewed at least two more times. These grants are about $200,000 so far. It is also unclear how a startup group, with no track record, can secure a grant from NED in four weeks. At the time, Trita Parsi’s only noteworthy credential was founding the Iranian lobby organization, IIC* (as Parsi himself had declared) and being connected to Bob Ney.

NIAC Spent NED’s funds to work with Hamyaran

NIAC used NED funds to send two of its members (with non-technical background and experience) to work with de facto Iranian government agency Hamyaran to teach NGO members how to use computer based digital media. The NIAC members conducting the training were Dokhi Fassihian (NIAC executive at the time) and Hadi Ghaemi (NIAC member):

“Among the NGOs present were BoomIran, an environmental group, the Family Planning Association, a health-based NGO focusing on reproductive health, the Cultural Research Bureau, Hamyaran, a networking and capacity-building NGO, and the Children’s Literature Council, a publishing house specializing in children’s books."

In fact, Hamyaran which organized the workshop is not an NGO but a government initiated false flag agency incepted, initiated, founded and managed by the theocratic regime of Iran. At the time, Hamyaran was managed by the Deputy Minister and Under Secretary of Health Hossein Malek-Afzali. Malek-Afzali has held high level governmental positions since 1984. Hamyaran is packed with Iranian government high-level officials. Family Planning Association is again headed by Deputy Minister Malek–Afzali and the Iranian high official Safieh Afshari. Two of the other NGOs mentioned were large-scale established publishing and cultural enterprises controlled by government. These two organizations have sophisticated computer and digital media infrastructures and are not in need of two non-experts to teach them how to use computers. The fifth NGO attending the workshop (BoomIran) is a small organization which shares management with Hamyaran. We will discuss these so-called independent NGOs later in this paper.

It is noteworthy that in addition to the high-level management of Hamyaran by the government officials, according to Hamyaran’s site, many of their daily activities such as their capacity building workshops are “under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior as part of their nationwide capacity building plan for NGOs.”

NIAC’s lobby to block US funds to Iranian NGOs through non NIAC channels

While requesting and receiving the funds from NED to work with the Iranian NGOs, NIAC has lobbied congress to stop direct support for genuine and independent Iranian NGOs through non-NIAC channels. In this endeavor, they have organized petitions, congressional briefings, PR plugs and articles. Trita Parsi, shedding crocodile tears for the hardship of American taxpayers writes:

“Congress is adept at throwing money at a problem. Far better to continue doling out cash on a project than to admit it’s not working. Or is it? After all, bridges are falling. We are facing major challenges in Iraq. Millions are without health insurance. In a time when the budget is increasingly stretched, Congress should reassess its spending — particularly on programs that have done more damage than good. The Iran democracy fund is a prime example of such a program. …. Come September, Congress will be looking for ways to fill in these budgetary potholes without increasing the budget. Where better to look for savings than in the bloated budget of the democracy program, which has hurt the very people it is aimed to assist? … Not only would this help ensure that no more bridges fall in the American heartland, but it would also ease the burden on the most effective agent for change in Iran — the Iranian people.”

“The reality is that there are smart ways to help Iranian civil society and there are incredibly stupid ways. NIAC, through funding from NED, had chosen the former.”

Hamyaran: Iranian regime means to control NGOs

In 1998, in an attempt to divert attention from crack down on the internal dissent, Iranian theocratic rulers created a showcase of several Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) under one umbrella organization called Hamyaran. Hamyaran, was the outcome of a conference of three sectors. The first sector, according to the conference outcomes report, was deputy ministers and representatives of several Iranian ministries and the Iranian parliament. The second sector was Iranian “non-governmental organizations” headed by Malek Afzali, (an influential deputy minister himself). The third group, according to the report, was International organizations’ representatives (including the United Nations). Since no representative names were included in the report, an independent determination of who these representatives were was not possible for this author. This conference of the mostly Iranian government agents decided that a new umbrella NGO, Hamyaran, will manage, coordinate and represent the showcase Iranian NGOs. This left Tehran’s hands open in brutal suppression of other NGOs. Hamyaran is currently headed by Baquer Namazi (the father of Siamak Namazi who was Trita Parsi’s partner in forming the Iranian lobby in the US). Malek Afzali, remains the key member of Hamyaran management.

In addition to monitoring and controlling the Iran’s NGOs, Hamyaran is charged with channeling all contacts and relations of the NGOs with the international organizations and the UN. Under the supervision of the government, Hamyaran is also charged with creating communication channels with the Iranians living in the US to utilize them as part of the Iranian lobby.

Hamyaran’s report of one of their meeting in the “ministry of foreign affairs” with various government agencies attending is a clear indication of the Iranian government's strategy to use NGOs to recruit the Iranian Diaspora. The meeting was held on March 16th, 2002 to review the “grounds for mutual cooperation in the area of strengthening the ties between the Iranian Expatriates and corresponding agencies in Iran with specific emphasis on the role of NGOs in this process.”

In this meeting, an "overall agreement was reached on the nature of cooperation between the Government Agencies, International Agencies, and concerned Iranian NGOs both domestic and abroad." According to Hamyaran’s report, “Workshops on specific topics related to the Iranian Expatriates and the International Conference on the Role of Iranian Expatriates were considered as immediate action plans.”

Baqer Namazi, Hamyaran’s current leader, in 2003, the height of the brutal suppression of the Iranian civil societ, said:

“…At present the new policies of the Foreign Ministry have a more facilitating role and direct cooperation of Iranian NGOs with international counterparts is smoother and easier. We invite government officials to participate, and several have come to do so. The government’s professional staff has welcomed such initiatives. … To come back to the question of the Iranian expatriates, the Foreign Ministry has been encouraging us to reach out to the Iranian experts in the diaspora, either individually, or in a more institutionalized form such as through Iranians working at the World Bank. So in terms of policy, the trend is becoming more positive, and the regulations are being made easier, there is verbal encouragement, but there are also the banal problems such as getting visas et cetera. But generally the government is positive towards the NGOs networking with the expatriate professional Iranians who are working in Europe and in America.”

Conclusion

Congress and the board of National Endowment for Democracy must provide detailed information on how NIAC obtained NED funding in the first grant and in the subsequent applications. They must inquire into how the funds were spent. They must also inquire if NIAC president and members had knowledge of the active management of these NGOs by the Iranian government.

*IIC site active from 1997 to 2002 included the following statements under “Frequently Asked Questions”:

Q: How long has IIC existed?

A: IIC was founded in August 1997 by Trita Parsi, the present Chairman. While conducting research on Iran for US Congressmen in Washington DC in 1997, he recognized the necessity of establishing a lobbying organization in order to protect the socio-economic and political aspirations of the Iranian people on one hand, and to promote the historical and contemporary cultural and scientific contributions of people of Iranian heritage worldwide, on the other. This consequently led, in collaboration with a large number of intellectuals and experts, to the formation of Iranians for International Cooperation (IIC).

“Q: What is IIC? Is it a political party or a lobby organization?

A: IIC is not a political party or even a political organization. We consider ourselves a lobby organization; we use our constitutional rights to influence our elected representatives.”

Next Tuesday, on November 18, the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) will host a congressional briefing. Senator Thomas Carper (D-DE) and Representative John Tierney (D-MA) are amongst the speakers. They will be talking about the new president’s policy towards Iran.
It is deeply concerning that a discredited group within the Iranian-American community, with blatantly obvious connections with the Islamic Republic, should be allowed to freely influence Washington’s political circles to the detriment of the American peoples’ and ultimately, the world community’s interests.

NIAC is at it again. Now they are working together with pro-Tehran regime policy analysts, to propose a disastrous “new” policy for the incoming Obama administration toward Iran.
The NIAC-sponsored report, written by former U.S. ambassadors Thomas Pickering and James F. Dobbins, Columbia University scholar Gary G. Sick and 17 other experts, calls on the new administration to “open the door to direct, unconditional and comprehensive negotiations at the senior diplomatic level
