Students carrying placards saying "Live free or die" stone police in Tehran
New Hampshireans in Tehran, fed up with the Thug-In-Chief and the mullahs behind him. "Students stone police in Iran riot," from the Daily Mail (thanks to Morgaan Sinclair):

Students defied a clampdown on protests in Iran yesterday by tearing down the gates of Tehran university.
They chanted slogans against President Ahmadinejad and carried placards saying "Live free or die", "No war, no fascism" and "Women must decide their fate, not the state."

They wrecked the iron-barred gates and threw stones at police, according to Iranian state radio, which said the protest ended peacefully....

Iran is currently holding up to 24 students in jail, the judiciary said on Tuesday after a spate of university demonstrations in Tehran.

"Between 20 and 24 students are in jail. They have been arrested over recent months, notably for seeking to disturb the public order," judiciary spokesman Ali Reza Jamshidi told reporters.

His comments came two days after hundreds of people demonstrated at Tehran University in a major protest calling for the release of detained students and criticising President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

"A total of five people were arrested during the latest demonstrations. One student and four non-students were arrested and are accused of disturbing the public order," said Jamshidi.

He did not specify when the arrests were made.

The intelligence ministry said last week it had arrested an unspecified number of people using "fake student cards to hold an illegal demonstration" at Tehran University.

There has been a string of demonstrations at Tehran universities in past months as students protest against the replacement of liberal professors, pressure on activists by the authorities and the detention of students.

The detention since May of three students from Tehran's Amir Kabir University has become a major issue for the protesters.

The trio were given jail sentences of up to three years in October on charges of printing anti-Islamic images in four student newspapers -- accusations they vehemently deny.

Reports said that students involved in Sunday's protests also held large pictures of other detained students with the names Ali Nikounesbati, Ali Aziz, Yasser Goli, Hana Abdi, Ronak Safarzadeh, Hedayat Ghazali, Sabah Nassiri.

But it is not clear when they were arrested and their detention has not been officially confirmed.

Ahmadinejad Will Face "Wall of Shame" at the UN Headquarters via Stop Child Executions
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY – (September 11, 2008) – The President of Iran will have to get past the “Ahmadinejad Wall of Shame” - a visual display and demonstration across the United Nations Headquarters- before entering the opening of the General Assembly.

The rally will run from 12-2pm on September 23rd at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (47th St. & 2nd Ave.) and feature Iranian/American groups each directly challenging Ahmadinejad on the surge in human rights abuses in Iran.

Organizing the event, Nazanin Afshin-Jam, an international human rights activist and former Miss World Canada, will lead off the line up of the “Wall of Shame” by asking: “Ahmadinejad why are you executing children?”

Nazanin’s actions on behalf of the children on death row in Iran began when she was told of a young girl on her namesake that was going to be executed for stabbing one of three men who attempted to rape her. Nazanin was instrumental in saving this girl and since then has been dedicated to saving more lives.
“There has been 6 children hanged this year alone in Iran and over 130 children on death row awaiting execution" said Nazanin Afshin-Jam President and co-founder of the Stop Child Executions (SCE) organization.”

“While the UN legitimizes Ahmadinejad as the leader of Iran by having the door open to him at the General Assembly, the Iranian people feel betrayed by the false representation. In face of the west's obsession with Iran's nuclear development, the voices of the Iranian people have been stifled and human rights abuses have been overshadowed. This "Wall of Shame" demonstration is hoping to give a "voice to the voiceless" and address the concerns of the vast majority of Iranian people who believe in a united, secular, democratic Iran based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and no military intervention on Iran,” said Nazanin.

Groups and individuals participating in the “Wall of Shame” demonstration include those who have faced oppression under the current regime such as women under gender apartheid, students who have been imprisoned and tortured and ethnic and religious minorities who have been persecuted. Focus will also be given to other human rights atrocities in Iran including stoning to death, dismembering of limbs, and throwing people from heights as methods of punishment.

Nazanin states, “The government of Iran can not on the one hand expect the international community to trust its leaders with nuclear energy while it openly disregards the most basic internationally recognized child rights conventions such as the UN's International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and the Charter of the Rights of the Child (CRC) to which it is state party.”

Stop Child Executions invites all media and the general public to join this demonstration for Human Rights. SCE will release the latest list of minors facing the death penalty, and an 8 part plan of recommendations addressed to Iran's heads of state, Parliament, Judiciary , United Nations and international community which will also be made available on the http://www.stopchildexecutions.com/ website following the rally.

A group of Iranian organizations working in the U.S. is preparing to stage a rally against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ahead of the Iranian President's visit to New York on Monday for the United Nations General Assembly.

The Iranian activists, some of them known as human rights activists, are organizing a mass demonstration on Tuesday, titled "Ahmadinejad, why are you executing children?"

Within the framework of the rally, to be held in the plaza adjacent to the United Nations building in New York, organizers plan to erect a "wall of shame" which will include a series of pictures and documented proof of Iran's abuse of jailed minors.

According to event organizer Nazanin Afshin-Jam, an international human rights activist and former Miss World Canada, six children have been hanged in Iran over the past year, and 130 children are currently jailed on death row and are expected to be put to death soon.

Afshin-Jam is the president of the Stop Child Executions Campaign. She says that the global battle against Iran's perceived nuclear ambitions has diverted attention from the inhuman abuse of children and the human rights violations in Iran.

Ahmadinejad's "wall of shame" will remind the world that Iranian citizens' main concern is the violation of basic human rights in their country, Afshin-Jam added.

Meanwhile, another anti-Iran rally was to be held across from the UN building on Monday, organized by a coalition of Jewish organizations in New York.

I was watching the CBS video that you posted above and to me it is amazing that there seem to be a deliberate attempt to put Israeli identity on the protest in which many Iranians have participated. There is absolutely no sign of Iranians in this video and you see many Israeli flags! And there is absolutely no mention of Iranians being present in demo against Ahmadinejad! Is this just a mere ignorance or a simple mistake? From what I have seen in the past and the way that western media has overlooked any previous protest by Iranians both inside and outside the country, I do not believe this is anything but calculated treatment of Iranian people's activities agaisnt the system which has been imposed on them through deceit and with the help of propaganda by same medias which ignore Iranians today. Iranian people should realize this fact that, not only they are alone against the evil regime but also there are others who covertly work against them while pretending to be their friends! History has the proof for that.

Dear Mahmoud

I wrote a letter to President Ahmadinejad, posted on NRO on Monday. I thought you’d want to see it:

I’m writing to you about death, one of your favorite themes. Your adult life has revolved around it. You’re from the Revolutionary Guards, the military organization that was created in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon in the 1970s. The then-incipient Revolutionary Guards were trained there by the expert terrorists of al Fatah, Yasser Arafat’s gang of killers (Sunnis, by the way, as you well know). One day, the camp was bombed by the Israelis, and a considerable number of your men were killed. Later on, the graduates entered Iran, and killed members of the shah’s security forces. Today, Revolutionary Guardsmen crush Iranian dissent at home, and they are on the prowl all over the world, from Iraq and Afghanistan to Buenos Aires, Argentina. So you’ve been around death for 30 years or more. Training for it, training others for it, and participating in it.

You glorify it. You think it’s beautiful. “Art reaches perfection when it portrays the best life and best death,” you’ve said. After all, art tells you how to live. That is the essence of art. Is there art that is more beautiful, more divine, and more eternal than the art of martyrdom? A nation with martyrdom knows no captivity. Those who wish to undermine this principle undermine the foundations of our independence and national security. They undermine the foundation of our eternity.

Interestingly, you talk about “independence” and “national security,” rather than the interests of Islam, or the Muslim community, or even the Shiites, your sect. I’ll come back to this odd language shortly.

You’re a veteran of one of the bloodiest wars of recent times, the Iran-Iraq conflict that probably cost your country more than a million dead and maimed. You extol that sacrifice, as any patriotic Persian would; Iran was invaded by Saddam Hussein’s armies, and the Iranian people defended their country, bravely and desperately.

But your praise of Iranian fighters isn’t limited to men shot down on the battlefield in that bloody war; you celebrate cases of what you call — and extol — “martyrdom.” I call it the deliberate, criminal slaughter of many tens of thousands of young children. Some of those kids were only 12 years old. They were sent across the battlefields into Iraqi territory, as human mine-detectors. They walked across the minefields, and got blown up. The Iraqi soldiers were so horrified that they shouted at the children to stop, to go back. But they didn’t; you’d indoctrinated or hypnotized them, and you wanted them to die. Indeed, you were so certain they would be killed, that these little children were provided with plastic keys that were said to open the gates to paradise.

That’s not martyrdom; that’s mass murder of your own people. You indoctrinated those kids and sent them to their doom. And it didn’t stop with the war. Afterwards, you sent other children to walk across areas you suspected were mined, and many of them were sacrificed in the same way.

This barbarous campaign, of which you are so proud, and which you acclaim as a work of art, produced some particularly gruesome technical problems: according to one of your leading newspapers, many of those children were vaporized by the land mines, while others were blown to pieces, their body parts scattered over the earth. Your religious leaders insisted that everything be done to keep the bodies intact, and so at a certain point the children were sent to the mine fields wrapped tightly in blankets. Instead of charging bravely to eternity, they rolled across the ground. That way, their cadavers were more likely to hold together, and their families could be given the remains, wrapped in a bloody blanket, for burial.

Sending fighters into battles in which their leaders know many, or even most of them, are going to die is hardly new. The Russians did it in the First World War, for example, when the second ranks were not armed, but were told that there would be plenty of weapons available; they could just pry them from the hands of their dead comrades. But your massacre of the innocents is something uniquely dreadful.

Ironically, the notion that Muslims love death, thereby gaining an advantage against their life-loving adversaries, was first directed against your very own country, Iran itself, during the famous battle at Qadisiyya in 636, between the Muslim armies of Caliph Abu Bakr and the Persians. The Caliph sent a message to the Persians, calling upon them to conver t to Islam or pay onerous taxes and accept Muslim rule. Otherwise, he said, “you should know that I have come to you with an army of men that love death, as you love life.” (The Muslims won the battle, which marked the end of the Sassanid dynasty in Persia).

Such language during war is, so to speak, normal, but your deliberate mass sacrifice of your young, along with your ode to martyrdom, is different. It’s what the great Spanish philosopher Miguel de Unamuno called “necrophilous” thinking, a pathological love of death.

Unamuno used that word in a face-to-face confrontation at the University of Salamanca, where he was the rector, with the famous Spanish general Millan Astray. The Spanish Civil War had just begun, and the general was celebrated in nationalistic circles for his motto, viva la muerte, Long Live Death. The general was a cripple, and Unamuno noted that the great Spanish writer, Cervantes, was also handicapped, and then he continued, “it pains me to think that General Milan Astray should dictate the pattern of mass psychology. A cripple who lacks the spiritual greatness of a Cervantes is wont to seek ominous relief in causing mutilation around him.” Unamuno denounced “Long Live Death” as a “necrophilous and senseless cry.”

Today, you are in the same position as General Milan Astray. Although you have not been wounded, your celebration of death is as necrophilous as the general’s. This is not a philosophical matter, despite your efforts to elevate it to the stature of aesthetics. It’s a disease, with well-known symptoms and consequences. People like you, who are fascinated by death are terribly destructive, of others and of themselves. You’re a textbook case.

Necrophilia is defined as:

The passionate attraction to all that is dead, decayed, putrid, sickly; it is the passion to transform that which is alive into something unalive; to destroy for the sake of destruction… It is the passion to tear apart living structures.

That is the language you use, especially about the Jews, the Israelis, and the Americans. It’s all about the rot of death, and the stink of death, as when you said that Israel is a “rotten and stinking corpse” that is destined to disappear, and you went on to proclaim that Israel “has reached the end like a dead rat.”

As I say, you’re a textbook case of mental illness. And we’re very well acquainted with the political consequences of your diseased mind. It’s all about fascism.

Fascists like you have always loved death. Hitler’s SS had a death skull on their insignia, and celebrated a brave death. As you say you do. And, like Hitler, you don’t just love death because of its aesthetics. You think that martyrs — suicide bombers, of whom you claim to have recruited some forty thousand, for example — have geopolitical significance. You say that “all independent nations are indebted to martyrs,” and your website modestly claims that the oppressed peoples of the world all love Iran’s leaders, particularly you and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. (That doesn’t sound right at all, by the way. Have you polled the Burmese and the Chinese, or the North Koreans? I haven’t heard them singing your praises, frankly).

But there’s a big difference between you and the Nazi leaders. You, and your fellow Iranian leaders, don’t actually fight. With the exception of your Revolutionary Guards forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, very few Iranians put themselves on the line (and even your foreign legions rarely fight, and when they are captured, they often give us the information we need to defeat you, as we have in Iraq and soon will in Afghanistan). You lure others to die, but you’re not willing to put your own lives on the line. You talk a lot about the “culture of martyrdom,” but in practice it’s not Iranians who blow themselves up. I don’t know of a single case of an Iranian suicide bomber in Iraq or Afghanistan. They’re all Arabs: Saudis, north Africans, and the odd Syrian tossed in for ethnic balance. But not Iranians. All of which tells me that your big talk about martyrdom is phony. Martyrdom is for others — in the current campaign, others you and most other Iranians despise, like the Arabs — but you’re not about to blow yourself up, or send your comrades to blow yourselves up.

You’ve won the status of the world’s leading antisemite, which is not easy, and you’ve lied about it a lot. Indeed, you have denied — on CBS television — hating any religion, which is manifestly false; you’ve been seen on Iranian TV spouting venom against all non-Muslims, with special contempt for Christians and Jews. But, when you are talking to the infidels, you pretend to be tolerant. For a guy who has distinctly medieval convictions — your very literal belief in the imminent return of the Shiite messiah, your beloved Twelfth Imam, and the onset of the End of Days, for example — you’ve certainly mastered some of the nuances of contemporary Western politics. You never chant “death to the Jews!” It’s always “death to Israel!” Or “death to the Zionists!” Or “death to America!”

That’s entirely in keeping with the “new” antisemitism. It’s always about Zionists, or the Israel lobby, or the lackeys of Sharon. But every now and then you just can’t resist, and out it comes. Instead of remembering to say that you respect all monotheistic religions, you tell your followers “We are in the process of a historical war between the World of Arrogance and the Islamic world, and this war has been going on for hundreds of years.” Zionists haven’t been around that long. And your followers aren’t nearly as careful with their language as you are. The Iranian creation, Hezbollah, told us in 1992 that they were engaged in “ an open war until the elimination of Israel and until the death of the last Jew on earth.” And ten years later, the leader of the “Party of God,” Lebanese Sheikh Nasrallah, was quoted by the Lebanon Daily Star, encouraging all the Jews to move to Israel, the better to annihilate them in one blow. “If they all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.”

Your senior adviser, Mohammad Ali Ramin (said to be the man behind your infamous Holocaust Denial Conference), says the Jews have been accused of spreading deadly plagues throughout history because “they are very filthy people.” And, almost in the same breath, he added, “So long as Israel exists in the region there will never be peace and security in the Middle East…so the resolution of the Holocaust issue will end in the destruction of Israel.”

That you are engaged in a global campaign to destroy the Jews is evident from your actions as well as your words; Hezbollah and the Iranian regime were joint partners in the bombing of the Jewish Social Center in Buenos Aires in 1994.

There’s obviously a big difference for you between dead Muslims and dead Jews; it’s only your dead that count; ours don’t count as martyrs. This is the point of your infamous diatribes against the very idea of the Holocaust. “ (The Zionists and their agents) have concocted a myth of deprivation and innocence for the Jews of Europe,” you’ve said. “They use this pretext of the innocence of Jews and the suffering of some Jews during the Second World War…” We know all about that line, “the pretext of innocence.” It’s been the trademark of antisemites for centuries.

In short, you’re not what you say you are. You’re a poseur, a fraud, a vulgar chauvinist pretending to be an inspired religious leader. You’ve proclaimed Iran “the most powerful and independent country in the world.” The implication of that silly claim is that the weaker and dependent nations — that is, everyone else in the world — must bend to your will. You’ve said this more than once and in somewhat different ways, as when you said that the Iranian people must prepare themselves to rule the world.

Those statements are very surprising, coming from one of the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Those words put you in direct conflict with the founder, Ayatollah Rohallah Khomeini. On the Air France plane carrying him to Tehran, Khomeini famously proclaimed that nationalism was paganism, that he didn’t give a hoot about Iran, and that his revolution was for all of Islam, not for one country. Indeed, if Iran perished in order to advance the global triumph of Islam, it would be fine with him.

So what’s up with your pagan statement about the glory of Iran? You constantly claim to be the heir to Khomeini, a true believer in the imminent return of the 12th Imam, but as a matter of fact you embrace an heretical doctrine. The 12th Imam is supposed to bring about the global triumph of the Muslim peoples, as Khomeini said. Not Iran. And another thing: you often talk as if global chaos and conflagration were welcome, because it would hasten the Mahdi’s arrival. But Khomeini did not say that, nor did he act as if he believed it. Quite the contrary, in fact: When an Iranian passenger plane was accidentally shot down by an American missile, he didn’t welcome it at all; he surrendered. That American missile ended the Iran-Iraq war.

You’d do well to study the history of your own country, which so far as I know is the only one to have had a Jewish queen — Esther, of the Purim story. The Book of Esther recounts the life and death of one of your direct predecessors, the evil politician Haman, who convinced his ruler, Ahasverous, to order the massacre of the Jews of the Persian Empire. The Book of Esther nicely summarizes what happens to those, like you, who attempt to destroy the Jewish people. Haman and his sons were hanged; then, a few days later, in the fighting he had authorized, some 75,000 Persians were killed by their would-be Jewish victims, and Esther reigned.

It’s your destiny, too.

I don’t know exactly how you will be destroyed. There are many possible scenarios, most of which you’ve undoubtedly contemplated in your reflections on the beauty of death. My own favorite is to turn your own hate upon yourself and your regime, and fulfill your dream of a world without Jews. You don’t want to be contaminated by us, right? Very well, then we’ll seal you off from everyone and everything Jewish. The ultimate embargo: You’ll have no Jewish doctors or lawyers, no access to Jewish hospitals, you’ll be isolated from music or art by Jews, and everything invented by Jews. It’s quite a long list, including chemotherapy, the cure for syphilis, the polio vaccine, blue jeans, oral contraceptives, azathioprine (the first immuno suppressant used in organ transplants), septicemia (treatment for bacterial infections), the Barbie doll, hand-held video cameras, various antibiotics including streptomycin and penicillin, the push-up bra, and, of course, most everything nuclear (sorry about that) including the fission reactor (as you must know, the American atomic bomb began with a letter to President Roosevelt from two Jewish physicists, and the Manhattan Project involved numerous others).

Poetic justice, don’t you think? You’ll be throttled by your own bile.

Governor Palin, the Republican nominee for vice president, was scheduled to speak today at a rally in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza to protest the appearance here of President Ahmadinejad of Iran. Her appearance was canceled by rally organizers who sought a nonpolitical event. Following are the remarks Mrs. Palin would have given:

I am honored to be with you and with leaders from across this great country — leaders from different faiths and political parties united in a single voice of outrage.

Tomorrow, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to New York — to the heart of what he calls the Great Satan — and speak freely in this, a country whose demise he has called for.

Ahmadinejad may choose his words carefully, but underneath all of the rhetoric is an agenda that threatens all who seek a safer and freer world. We gather here today to highlight the Iranian dictator's intentions and to call for action to thwart him.

He must be stopped.

The world must awake to the threat this man poses to all of us. Ahmadinejad denies that the Holocaust ever took place. He dreams of being an agent in a "Final Solution" — the elimination of the Jewish people. He has called Israel a "stinking corpse" that is "on its way to annihilation." Such talk cannot be dismissed as the ravings of a madman — not when Iran just this summer tested long-range Shahab-3 missiles capable of striking Tel Aviv, not when the Iranian nuclear program is nearing completion, and not when Iran sponsors terrorists that threaten and kill innocent people around the world.

The Iranian government wants nuclear weapons. The International Atomic Energy Agency reports that Iran is running at least 3,800 centrifuges and that its uranium enrichment capacity is rapidly improving. According to news reports, U.S. intelligence agencies believe the Iranians may have enough nuclear material to produce a bomb within a year.

The world has condemned these activities. The United Nations Security Council has demanded that Iran suspend its illegal nuclear enrichment activities. It has levied three rounds of sanctions. How has Ahmadinejad responded? With the declaration that the "Iranian nation would not retreat one iota" from its nuclear program.

So, what should we do about this growing threat? First, we must succeed in Iraq. If we fail there, it will jeopardize the democracy the Iraqis have worked so hard to build, and empower the extremists in neighboring Iran. Iran has armed and trained terrorists who have killed our soldiers in Iraq, and it is Iran that would benefit from an American defeat in Iraq.

If we retreat without leaving a stable Iraq, Iran's nuclear ambitions will be bolstered. If Iran acquires nuclear weapons — they could share them tomorrow with the terrorists they finance, arm, and train today. Iranian nuclear weapons would set off a dangerous regional nuclear arms race that would make all of us less safe.

But Iran is not only a regional threat; it threatens the entire world. It is the no. 1 state sponsor of terrorism. It sponsors the world's most vicious terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah. Together, Iran and its terrorists are responsible for the deaths of Americans in Lebanon in the 1980s, in Saudi Arabia in the 1990s, and in Iraq today. They have murdered Iraqis, Lebanese, Palestinians, and other Muslims who have resisted Iran's desire to dominate the region. They have persecuted countless people simply because they are Jewish.

Iran is responsible for attacks not only on Israelis, but on Jews living as far away as Argentina. Anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial are part of Iran's official ideology and murder is part of its official policy. Not even Iranian citizens are safe from their government's threat to those who want to live, work, and worship in peace. Politically-motivated abductions, torture, death by stoning, flogging, and amputations are just some of its state-sanctioned punishments.

It is said that the measure of a country is the treatment of its most vulnerable citizens. By that standard, the Iranian government is both oppressive and barbaric. Under Ahmadinejad's rule, Iranian women are some of the most vulnerable citizens.

If an Iranian woman shows too much hair in public, she risks being beaten or killed.

If she walks down a public street in clothing that violates the state dress code, she could be arrested.

But in the face of this harsh regime, the Iranian women have shown courage. Despite threats to their lives and their families, Iranian women have sought better treatment through the "One Million Signatures Campaign Demanding Changes to Discriminatory Laws." The authorities have reacted with predictable barbarism. Last year, women's rights activist Delaram Ali was sentenced to 20 lashes and 10 months in prison for committing the crime of "propaganda against the system." After international protests, the judiciary reduced her sentence to "only" 10 lashes and 36 months in prison and then temporarily suspended her sentence. She still faces the threat of imprisonment.

Earlier this year, Senator Clinton said that "Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is in the forefront of that" effort. Senator Clinton argued that part of our response must include stronger sanctions, including the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. John McCain and I could not agree more.

Senator Clinton understands the nature of this threat and what we must do to confront it. This is an issue that should unite all Americans. Iran should not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. Period. And in a single voice, we must be loud enough for the whole world to hear: Stop Iran!

Only by working together, across national, religious, and political differences, can we alter this regime's dangerous behavior. Iran has many vulnerabilities, including a regime weakened by sanctions and a population eager to embrace opportunities with the West. We must increase economic pressure to change Iran's behavior.

Tomorrow, Ahmadinejad will come to New York. On our soil, he will exercise the right of freedom of speech — a right he denies his own people. He will share his hateful agenda with the world. Our task is to focus the world on what can be done to stop him.

We must rally the world to press for truly tough sanctions at the U.N. or with our allies if Iran's allies continue to block action in the U.N. We must start with restrictions on Iran's refined petroleum imports.

We must reduce our dependency on foreign oil to weaken Iran's economic influence.

We must target the regime's assets abroad; bank accounts, investments, and trading partners.

President Ahmadinejad should be held accountable for inciting genocide, a crime under international law.

We must sanction Iran's Central Bank and the Revolutionary Guard Corps — which no one should doubt is a terrorist organization.

Together, we can stop Iran's nuclear program.

Senator McCain has made a solemn commitment that I strongly endorse: Never again will we risk another Holocaust. And this is not a wish, a request, or a plea to Israel's enemies. This is a promise that the United States and Israel will honor, against any enemy who cares to test us. It is John McCain's promise and it is my promise.

Thank you.

Subject: Your Interview with Ahmadinejad.

Mr. King

You were naïve confronting this idiot of Islamic World last night.

He has repeatedly indicated about legitimate land of Palestine .

Historically speaking, Palestine Arabs never existed until emergence of Mohammad the prophet of the most brutal religion of the world.

For last 7-8 thousands of years this land including most part of Egypt , Syria , Iraq , and Partially Saudi Arabia were territories that many people including Assyrians, Babylonians, Iranians, with their respective religion lived. If you refer to the first and second testimony (Bible) Cyrus the Great, king of kings rescued Jews from Babylonian’s brutal ruler over 2500 Years ago. In that time No Arab, lived in this area.

Arabs origin is Yemen, Saudi Arabia is not the origin of Arabs, it is knows as Arab land, but the real Arabs lived in Yemen, when Mecca turned to some kind of “BAZAR” merchant corner, Arabs migrated through Mecca to “SHAM” (Syria), then they reached to Egypt, Jordan, Iraq. These area never spoke Arabic language. They were all under Iranian kingdom ( Jordan , Syria , Iraq , most Part of Israel, up to the Sinai desert bordering with Egypt . In one point Iranian King helped Egyptian solving their legal fight by establishing law of the land.

Arabs have no right to these lands, at least they do not have any right claiming it prior to Mohammad.

You were naïve, confronting this man when he criticized the world countries that have Atomic bomb, yes they do, but do they have TERRORIST or TERRORIST supporter Government?? No they don’t.

You were naïve, stopping this man from meddling in Palestine / Israel Affairs. Whereas he clearly stipulates what is the business of others meddling in the Islamic Regime’s affair, what is this man’s business talking of Palestine and Israel affair. Two neighbors have problem, they should solve it together it is none of Ahmadinejad’s business meddling in Palestine ’s affair supplying them with weapon and money.

Their own people are living in poverty, back in Iran , the people are tortured, hanged, addicted, pushed to prostitution on daily basis, children under 10 years of age are panhandling in Iran ’s street, working in the factories, why they are not fixing their own problems??

Take a look at www.holycrime.com this site lists their daily crime that emerged into the reputable news media, other crimes not surfaced is not listed here…this is Islamic Regime of Ayatollahs.

Don’t make a mistake that is not IRAN , Iran is Iran when its king rescues Jew, provided Jews with Iranian passport during WWII (During King that Entire World watched him to die while Khomeini was taking over)

Why did you not ask these questions?? Why did you not bring this site to his attention??

HC

P.S. By the way, I do not live in USA , I am not American.

Dear Toofan:
As far as I know the media has never been on the Iranian side, maybe because there is not enough money in it!
The only thing we can do is to provide our own video tapes by going to these demonstrations, tape them and send the videos to different news network & ask them to show the tape on their news hour, they most likely won't, but we have to try. Also put them on You-tube so the whole world can see it.
Something else I noticed with this demonstration, it doesn't show on the link; I thought there will be blown up pictures of these children i.e. Behnam Zaare & others with placards writing on them, the Iranian regime has killed these children and continues to kill women & children. In a demonstration the signs are very important.
I also ask myself could someone have purchased Behnam and other childrens' lives...since in Iran with money you can buy people...

Larry King Interview with Selected President Mahmud Ahmadinejad

Dear Mr. Larry King

On Tuesday September 23rd, 2008 selected President Mahmud Ahmadinejad appeared on Larry King Live program, and was interviewed by Larry King about the US involvement in Iraq and what was awaiting for state of Israel .

During course of interview Mr. Larry King asked selected President Mahmud Ahmadinejad that if the regime in Iran was afraid of US military strike on Iran . Ahmadinejad responded to Mr. Larry King by saying that the cleric regime was not afraid of the US military strike on Iran and it would be worst case scenario for the US . The above question of Mr. Larry King did not bear any kind of significant because it was obvious Ahmadinejad would respond to Mr. Larry King question by saying that the regime in Iran was not afraid of war. In case, Ahmadinejad would say that the regime was afraid of the war, it would demoralize the cleric's regime in this elusive nuclear stand off with the West. There was one possible question for Mr. Larry King to ask from Ahmadinejad that what was the regime's plan after military strike on Iran which would claim lives of innocent people while the key player of the regimes would be hiding in Western nations in their mansions and far away from any kind of harm? The above type of questions and answers from Ahmadinejad would illustrate that how much the regime in Iran had value for humanity. In addition, Ahmadinejad claimed that throughout history, Iran demonstrated to be a peaceful nation. It was true what Ahmadinejad was saying that Iran was a peaceful nation throughout history, which was due to Iran's monarchs that they kept Middle East in peace until 1979, but the current Islamic Republic regime had brought death, destruction, embarrassment for Iranian in international community, misery, poverty and many more international and social epidemic diseases. However, Mr. Larry King did not make any attempt to highlight above issues to Ahmadinejad. Quite frankly, it was too obvious that this interview was pre-arranged between Mr. Larry King and Ahmadinejad.

Interestingly, Ahmadinejad during his interview with Mr. Larry King brought charge of blasphemy against Jewish people by claiming that Zionist people did not believe in God, and wearing mask of religion. The Sarbazan and Janbakhtegan Organization found Ahmadinejad's above statement as nerving wrecking and brought old memories back when the cleric regime formed Kangaroo Court and found member of Imperial Iranian Armed Forces guilty for spreading corruption on earth, waging war against Allah and other form of religious charges. Obviously, the regime had already found its own religious venue to justify its death and destruction of Israel . Despite above warning, Mr. Larry King failed to explore above thought of him, and allowed him to walk away from such repulsive statement.

This time Mahmud Ahmadinejad did not call for destruction of Israel by nuclear bomb because nuclear explosion would claim Palestinian people too. So, he recommended a proposal for “a free referendum in Palestine for determining and establishing the type of state in the entire Palestinian lands.”1 Mr. Larry King did not ask Ahmadinejad that what was position of Ahmadinejad to pose a referendum in another sovereign nation? Mr. Larry King did not ask Ahmadinejad that what was so big deal about Palestine except they took part in execution of Imperial Iranian Armed Forces during 1979 revolution, and when Khomeini Hendi asked Yaser Araft to assist Khomeini's war against Iraq . Yaser Araft told Khomeini that he was an Arab and Saddam Hussein was an Arab too, so he would not assist Khomeini to win this war?

Mr. Larry King illustrated keen interest about Ahmadinejad's letters to the US President George Bush which invited President George Bush for a debate, and if Ahmadinejad was interested to have alive debate with Senator John McCain or Senator Hussein Barack Obama. It was not obvious what purpose was serving here by asking Ahmadinejad if he would have a debate with any US senator? Of course, Ahmadinejad had been seeking attention for quite sometimes, and would have a debate with anyone.

There were some constructive questions to pose to selected President Mahmud Ahmadinejad that why did he say in the United Nations the US in Iraq as oppressor of “Iraqis with six years of occupation, saying Americans were "still seeking to solidify their position in the political geography of the region and to dominate oil resources”?2 Also, Mr. Larry King did not asked Ahmadinejad that since he was so concern about Iraqi people than why this terminally ill and an illegitimate state in Iran had been refusing to up-holding universal declaration of human rights in Iran, and treating its own people poorly? Why the cleric regime in Iran had been using all kinds of coercive methods to suppress its own people? And overdue question would be, did Ahmadinejad took part in 1979 hostage taken of US embassy? Mr. Larry King did not bother for one second to ask above questions in order to illustrate that the regime itself had domestic issues which needed to be addressed in first place than Ahmadinejad needed to be concern about well being of Iraqi people.

The bottom line, Sarbazan and Janbakhtegan Organization found this interview another form of US back room deal with the cleric regime in Iran with intention to amplify the regime's propaganda that the regime was firm on its nuclear stand off with West due to support of people in Iran since Ahmadinejad was at the U.N. While ignored all human rights violation in Iran . Also, Mr. Larry King did not to cover any real issues which were concerning international community, and simply Mr. Larry King was boasting and enhance morale of the regime in Iran which has popularity among western nations.

There were a few word of advice to American citizen from Iranian-American, and asking American to look at Iranian-American life that they were forced to leave their country and adopt the US as their new home due to atrocities that the regime committed upon them, and as long as Americans are willing to play games with the regime in Iran, and presume the regime in Iran is under their control, it is totally dead wrong perception. The British regime trained the cleric regime as their master of deception, and the cleric would seek all kinds of venues to deceive Americans so Islamic Republic would flourish in the US, and signs of Islamic Revolution is exported in US is everywhere. For example, there is IMAN Foundation which has direct relation with the regime in Iran to further interest of the regime in the US, National Iranian American Council or there is Network of Iranian American Professionals of Orange County which is nest of the Islamic Republic to recruit fresh minds and brainwash these minds with hate, and hostility against American in order to remake 9/11 at higher magnitude that the American did not expect. This time, Americans would not have an opportunity to get together and prepare for a war, this time war is inside of their country and would not allow the US to last long.

The US presidents have been chanting regime change for Iran , and have no clue what really Iranian want which is not a war in Iran to remove the regime. It is about cooperation with Iranian dissidents to allow them to do regime change in Iran and determine their own destiny.

All above highlights means one thing, Americans are not in touch with Iranians, and as long as, Americans are walking away from Iranian dissidents it is in great advantage of the regime to isolate the US and to make the US weak and vulnerable to any kind of threat. Unless Americans begin to change this dynamic of isolation and holds hand with Iranian dissidents and to finish the regime in Iran which is nothing but an epidemic disease.

Thank you

Respectfully

On Tuesday, September 23, Lary King, far from his usual challenging demeanor, offered Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ample opportunity to present his case. The final touch was to give him a human face. “Do you have children?” King asked the brutal dictator. “How old are they?” he followed, giving Ahmadinejad an opportunity to present his “human” side.

King’s gracious treatment of the Iranian tyrant can be interpreted within the context of CNN’s history of handling Iranian regime figures. The first notable episode was ten years ago when Christian Amanpour introduced the "irreversible" Iranian reform movement to the American public. She interviewed then President Mohammad Khatami and prepared the public for a rapprochement with the Iranian regime.

Following Amanpour's efforts, on March 21, 2000, the American Iranian Council (AIC) honored the CNN chief correspondent with a special reward. AIC was founded in 1997 to promote the rapprochement policies towards the Iranian regime. Recently, the AIC president, Hooshang Amirahmadi, publicly admitted to lobbying in favor of the Iranian regime. 1

Amanpour was honored for her reports on the Iranian society and especially the "Revolutionary Journey" broadcast in February 2000. The report depicted young Iranians as party lovers, drinking, dancing and practicing all the aspects of personal freedom of a contemporary western life. The NY Times on February 26, 2000 summarized her work as: "She visits a college student she calls Leyla who is putting on her makeup, listening to American rock music, getting ready to go to a party… These are the sons and daughters of the Islamic revolution."

Amanpour then says: "This is a crucial moment in Iranian history. This is the turning point from a hard-line theocratic state, to a vibrant new Moslem democracy… the hard line conservatives have had to face the fact that the people are rejecting their vision of Islam."

When Amanpour was asked if she faced any restrictions while filming "Revolutionary Journey" in Iran, she answered:

"None at all. It's a remarkably free environment for journalists today…. Our reporting has never been reviewed or censored, which in itself is an extraordinary fact. In many other parts of the world, there is censorship. Journalists are coming to Iran in record numbers. They are granted working visas, and for the most part, they are able to talk to whomever they want and go wherever they want."

Interesting to note that at that time, a record number of Iranian journalists were jailed, tortured or exiled. "Reporters without Borders" declared Iran as the largest prison for journalists.

The second episode came seven years later in 2007 when the reformists were evicted from the scene. This time, with "God's Warriors'", CNN inaugurated a new series of reports on Iran. Instead of Western style party going youngsters, Iranians were depicted as fanatic Muslims beating chests, chanting militant slogans and ready for martyrdom. While both types can be found in Iran, the truth about the very large majority of the Iranians is far from these two extreme depictions. So why would Amanpour wanted to depict these as the overwhelming majority? The answer is in its timing.

In 2000, at the peak of Khatami's era and hope for engaging the Iranian regime, the lobbying arm of the mullahs in the US campaigned hard for generating the type of image that Amanpour depicted in her report. In doing so, CNN was not alone. The European media frequently showed the Iranian women in ski resorts and wealthy families practicing Western culture.

In 2007, with the prospect of the West's harsh policies toward the Iranian regime, the Iranian lobby was hard at work to promote a different image of the Iranians. The new paradigm must depict the Iranian society ideologically cemented to its rulers: Iranians will bravely and unequivocally face the eventual aggressors. In case of such aggression, 50 million Iranians will fight the US and defend their country.

Within this context, it becomes easier to understand Larry King's treatment of Ahmadinejad. It satisfies the distinct necessities of the day. There are a group of influential circles in the U.S. which believe that the only way to settle the disputes with Iran is to offer more carrots. Larry King's interview was a yet another step in preparing public opinion in offering even more carrots to Tehran.

In this game of shame, Iranian tyrants scored one more. What is next on CNN?
