As you might have read that about a week ago there was a bomb exploded in a Mosque in Shiraz. The officials say there was some ammunition left there due an earlier exhibition of Iran-Iraq war which went off...accidentally.

At the same time the Iranian Intelligence denied this comment and expects a bomb.

Now I read accidentally that the group of Anjomane Padeshahi has set the bomb in the mosque. First I thought they are just bluffing, but they have audio files when the bomb goes off, somce eternal video and picture footage too. In their radio (and internet radio) + Website they say it was them who set the bomb to kill the Bassijis in the Hosseini in Shiraz.

What do you think about this? And do you think terrorism can be succesful against Mullahs?

Dorood bar shomaY

I dont agree of the term "terrorism" in this case.!!!
Such activities are only a natural reaction to mullahs dictaturship.
If they are behind this then more power to them !!!!!

Khodaaye man....

So Anjomane Padeshahi really did it....I thought they are just claiming it because no one else has taken responsibility.

Interesting...very interesting. I really dont know what to say. I dont like bombings and terrorism, its destructive. No other terrorist group in the history was able to crack a government by killing and bombing. (see RAF in 1970, 1980 in Germany, Basques in Spain, Corsica in France or Northern Ireland, even Mojaheds in Iran).

However I really wish and hope that these guys in Shiraz are not really arrested as IRI claims. Poor guys. Ok, they killed people and thats wrong, however they killed a bunch of Bassijis in a mosque, so what. Maybe its a lesson for Bassijis to know from now on that someone will resist them and they cant do whatever they want to do on the streets.

Anjomane Padeshahi was a internet Radio:

I listened to it 2 weeks ago the last time. It was interesting.

May 29, 2008:

Monarchist reportedly faces imminent execution in Tehran. Dr. Forood Fouladvand, a self-styled monarchist who disappeared along with two associates on the Turkish border with Iran on Jan. 17, 2007, now faces imminent execution by the Iranian authorities, Iranian exiles in London tell FDI. According to these sources, Dr. Fouladvand will be executed tomorrow. "He is like the Robert Spencer of Iran," one supporter in London said. "He has been studying Islamic texts and using them to convince people to leave Islam" on radio and satellite television broadcasts from London.

Dr. Fouladvand heads a group called Anjomane Padeshahi Iran (API), the Kingdom Assembly of Iran, which advocates restoration of the constitutional monarchy abolished by the Islamic Republic in 1980. He had gone to Iran, apparently lured by promises from an opposition group that was either infiltrated by the regime or that had been cooped by the regime. Fouladvand was traveling with a fake passport under the name of Jahangir Irani and disappeared along with two supporters, identified on his website as Simorgh and Kouroshe Lor.

Over the past few years, The Kingdom Assembly of Iran has staged a number of high-profile protests against the regime in Europe, prompting the British authorities to raid Dr. Fouladvand's offices in London on June 17, 2005, the day of the Iranian presidential elections, According to the official police report, Scotland Yard issued a search warrant under the Terrorism Act of 2000 on the grounds that "Fouladvand has been been campaign for the overthrow of the Iranian government via satellite broadcasts" and was "raising money to facilitate this action" on television. In addition to beating Dr. Fouladvand and several supporters, and confiscating computers and other documents, the[b] British authorities seized a briefcase containing £7,262.41 in cash which they claimed had been raised "for the unlawful overthrow of the Iranian government." So far, the British government has not apologized for its action or returned the money.

Yes the British are behind Mullahs. Maybe its better to say they are just against any change in iran and not neccessarily pro-Mullahs. Could be the Oil-Contracts they have with iran.

Remember Saddams fall ? All Iraqs Oil contracts were nil and had to be negotiated from scratch. UK is afraid of loosing quotes to Chinese and Russians if this happens.

Uk has also best ties with Arabs and BBC never calls the persian Gulf as such but the Gulf to please the Arabs. However i am also surprised that british are airing right now Persepolis in the movie theaters.

Regarding Fouladvand, if its true, its sad. i appreciated and followed his work until end of 2004. But then he lost more and more his temper and became inpatient. he swear out loud on live TV the worst vulgarity that even i - as a single guy - had to zap the channel. Now imagine that in a family house with children... many of his supprters warned him and asked him not to do that. But he didnt listen to anyone.

if he went to Iran with the name jahangir irani. That was already mistake Nr 1. The name is too pure Iranian. Sounds like a Zartoshti name. He should have taken a mixed Arabic name to better undercover it. but if they really had infiltrated the supporters in iran, then there was nothing he could do.

It would be better if they execute him asap. Torture is worse. Poor guy.
What was he thinking going to Iran? His popularity has even sunk within his supporters because of his outrages, I doubt his popularity was too big in Iran. I don't know.

Where did you copy this from? Do you have a source by the way?

Thanks
Ashavan

It was in the Foundation for Democracy in Iran (FDI) weblog. move down to Breaking News...

This guy really made a bad choice, if what FDI says is true. First of all, he most likely was under surveillance by Brits, they knew what he was up to. Whether they made a deal with mullahs, that they can get informatin regarding Fouladvand, in exchange for other things, we don't know for sure, however, I am always suspicious of Brits...and whether the Turkish intelligence was in on it, is another factor. You can't just go to Turkey & kidnap 3 people, go through their boarders without their knowledge........
